Ghost Exorciser: The Oust Fake Heiress Strikes

Chapter 581: Ice Cream

Chapter 581: Ice Cream

"How about this? I’ll personally make ice cream for you."Conrad laughed. "That sounds like a fair deal."

Meanwhile, Lucian quietly watched the siblings chatting happily before gently reminding everyone, "She’s exhausted."

His gaze softened as he looked toward Lana. "Let her rest."

Hearing those words, Axel merely rolled his eyes. "I almost forgot."

He took out another stack of documents before handing them to Lana. Lana accepted them with obvious confusion.

However... the moment she finished reading...

She stared at Axel in complete disbelief.

Axel nodded.

"During the International Mystic Cultivation Competition... you’ll either have to stay inside the official dormitories, which are honestly terrible... or rent one of the nearby hotels."

He sighed. "The problem is that even an ordinary room costs nearly ten million per night during the competition."

He pointed toward the documents. "So... I purchased this apartment located very close to the competition venue. It’s yours now."

Lana’s eyes immediately became moist.

She looked toward Axel with trembling lips. "Why..."

She quietly asked, "Why are all of you giving me so much?"

She lowered her head. "It’s not like I’ve accomplished anything extraordinary."

Axel gently smiled before shaking his head. "You still don’t realize how incredible your achievement truly is."

His voice carried obvious pride.

"Lana... you’ve only been cultivating for about a year. And yet you’ve already reached the Celestial Core Rank."

He looked directly into her eyes.

"Do you know what that means? The Mystic Cultivation Association will reward you. The universities will compete to recruit you. What we’re giving you..."

He smiled warmly. "...is only a tiny fraction of what you’ll eventually receive."

Lana quietly listened. Her heart gradually filled with warmth.

She truly felt... loved.

Meanwhile... Lucian quietly tightened his grip around the gift he had prepared.

He patiently waited until Axel and Conrad finally left the room. Only then did he step forward.

"I have something for you as well."

Lana immediately raised both hands. "I really don’t need anything expensive anymore."

She helplessly smiled. "I’ve already received more than enough today."

She looked at him playfully. "I think you’re destined to disappoint yourself."

Lucian simply chuckled. "Really? You’ll only know after opening it."

Lana rolled her eyes before taking the elegant gift box.

She slowly opened it. Inside... there wasn’t any treasure. Instead... there was only a single document.

Curiously, she unfolded it.

The next second, her entire body froze, and her eyes rapidly scanned every line again.

Unable to believe what she was reading.

The document officially declared that nearly twenty acres of land in Tianmei City had been transferred into Lana’s name.

She slowly lifted her head. Her voice trembled. "Is..."

She swallowed. "Is this real?"

Lucian smiled calmly. "It is."

He gently continued,

"Those twenty acres are only the beginning. As our relationship continues to develop... I’ll transfer another two hundred acres."

He looked at her with gentle affection. "And after we get married... I’ll transfer another one thousand acres into your name."

Lana’s jaw slowly dropped. "Oh..."

She covered her mouth. "Oh my God..."

She suddenly jumped to her feet. "I’m rich! I’m actually rich!"

Unable to control herself any longer, she burst into delighted laughter.

In her previous life... she hadn’t even possessed the qualifications required to enter Tianmei City.

The only reason she had ever stepped inside those city walls was that Lucian had personally brought her there.

Yet now... she actually owned land inside the city.

Not just a small plot... but twenty entire acres. The thought alone felt unreal.

She laughed until tears nearly formed in her eyes. Watching her laugh so happily, Mr. Crow helplessly rolled his eyes.

"Instead of celebrating like a fool..."

He proudly flapped his wings. "...why don’t you check what you gained from your breakthrough?"

Lana immediately calmed down. "Oh... you’re right."

She slowly closed her eyes. Her consciousness sank inward as she carefully sensed the changes within her body.

The next moment... a strange symbol suddenly appeared upon the back of her hand.

It resembled an elegant snowflake surrounded by countless tiny frost crystals.

A cold aura gently spread throughout the room. The surrounding temperature visibly dropped.

Tiny particles of frost quietly formed upon nearby furniture.

Lana slowly opened her eyes. Feeling the chilly mystical energy flowing through her body, she softly murmured,

"I awakened..."

She stared at the frost gathering around her fingertips. "...the Ice Element."

Lucian’s eyes immediately brightened. A proud smile appeared on his face. "That’s wonderful news."

Lana happily nodded. Then... a mischievous smile slowly crept onto her lips.

She grinned. "Now I can finally make that ice cream for my brother."

Lucian shook his head, then, as if remembering something, he said,

"Oh, right. Your second brother has asked me to arrange a meeting with you. I rejected his request, but I still thought you should know."

Hearing those words, Lana frowned. Her brows knitted together as irritation flashed across her face.

"What does he even want now?"

Lucian shrugged calmly. "Most likely, he wants to apologize."

Lana let out a soft, amused chuckle, although there wasn’t a trace of warmth behind it.

"This time, you might be wrong, babe."

Philip... apologizing? That was the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard.

From the very first day she had met him, she had already realized what kind of man he was.

He would rather shatter every relationship around him than admit he had made a mistake.

Pride was stitched into his bones, and accepting fault was simply not something he was capable of doing.

Lucian slowly shook his head.

"Maybe your first impression of him wasn’t completely accurate. However, I swear he’s a much better person than you think, Lana."

Lana looked straight into his eyes before crossing her arms. "So, what’s your plan? Are you going to ask me to forgive my family?"

Lucian gently shook his head again, a soft smile appearing on his face.

"No. I actually wanted them to continue feeling guilty toward you. If they carry that guilt, they’ll keep Thessy in check and make sure no one hurts you again."

Those simple words melted a small corner of Lana’s heart. Warmth spread through her chest as she leaned forward, cupped his face with both hands, and softly kissed him on the lips.

"My boyfriend is the best."

Lucian smiled helplessly before carefully pulling the blanket over her shoulders, making sure every corner was tucked around her.

However, his smile gradually faded. Lana’s body was becoming colder.

That wasn’t normal. A worried look filled his eyes. ’She’s going to develop a fever if this continues.’

Without wasting another second, he summoned his healing spirit.

The tiny spirit floated through the air before immediately latching itself onto Lana’s body. This time, Lucian didn’t pull it away.

He had known for a long time that healing spirits released their healing energy much more efficiently when they remained in direct physical contact with the person they were healing.

A gentle green glow spread across Lana’s body, bringing with it a comforting warmth.

Lana immediately felt that soothing energy circulating through every part of her body. The coldness slowly disappeared as exhaustion eased from her muscles.

She couldn’t help but smile while looking at the adorable, squishy healing spirit.

"Wow... I really want a spirit like this."

The healing spirit seemed absolutely thrilled by her praise. It immediately wrapped its tiny arms around her neck and hugged her tightly, happily bouncing in place.

Watching the interaction from the side, Myra couldn’t help but smile softly. It was only then that Lana finally noticed her. "Huh?"

She blinked in surprise. "Myra?"

Until now, Myra had been standing quietly in the corner while dressed in a maid’s uniform. The moment Lana looked at her, her eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Myra... can you solidify yourself?"

Myra quickly nodded. The very next second, her body emitted a gentle emerald glow.

The maid’s uniform dissolved into countless tiny particles of green light before disappearing entirely, revealing her true spiritual form.

Lana’s eyes widened. Myra no longer looked like the small spirit she remembered.

She now resembled a beautiful teenage girl.

Her height had increased considerably, and her silky green hair now flowed all the way down her back.

The earlier light-green shade had deepened into a richer emerald color, making her resemble a spirit born from an ancient forest.

Even her clothes had transformed into elegant dark-green garments woven from spiritual energy. Her skin had become fairer, almost glowing beneath the soft light filling the room.

For a few seconds, Lana simply stared at her in amazement.

"Myra... you look so beautiful. You look just like a real nature spirit."

Myra proudly lifted her chin before laughing cheerfully.

"Of course. After all, I’m your Spirit Master."

Lana couldn’t help but laugh.

She spread both of her arms wide.

The next instant, Myra happily rushed forward and threw herself into Lana’s embrace.

"Master, I missed you so much! These past few days, I kept feeling sleepy, so I stayed inside the jade bracelet. But every single time I woke up, I couldn’t stop thinking about you."
