Hogwarts and the Atypical Wizard

Chapter 273 Officially Owning a House-Elf

Chapter 273 Officially Owning a House-Elf

Seeing Dumbledore appear not far away, Sainz went out from the door to greet him, "Welcome, Professor!"

"Saienz, you've done a great job of keeping secrets!" Dumbledore followed Sainz inside, and everyone who could speak at the door greeted him.

"Welcome, Professor Dumbledore!"

"Hello, Professor Dumbledore!"

……

Old Deng stopped and looked at the puppets of various shapes and sizes around him with interest. "Saiens, I think I should offer you the position of professor of alchemy."

"Then you're going to roast me over the fire!" Sainz asked everyone to disperse, "Fourth sister-in-law, prepare some preserved fruits."

The other "people" all dispersed, only the dean stayed by the side. Old Deng adjusted his glasses and said, "These alchemical puppets of yours are very special. Excessive modesty is not a good thing."

"Professor, don't be fooled by their appearance of being very flexible. In fact, I took some shortcuts when making them. I used tattoos. To be honest, they even have something to do with black magic. I dare not teach them to others."

Old Deng stopped and thought for a moment, probably roughly understanding their operating principles. He nodded and said nothing more.

Arriving at the living room, the two sat down as host and guest. Fourth sister-in-law served candied fruits and black tea to Old Deng, and served Sainz a cup of tea.

Sainz personally cut a large piece of cake for Old Deng and served it to him on an exquisite white porcelain lotus plate.

"Sainz, why are you so polite all of a sudden!"

"Hey, I have something to ask you!"

"Tell me what's the matter, otherwise I won't dare to eat the cake you bring over."

"Well, okay, I'll show you around my house first."

"Okay, I just want to see what the house you've hidden for so long looks like."

"Hehe, it's not that I'm hiding it on purpose, it's just that many things are very inconvenient before you reach adulthood, so I have to do this."

"We couldn't do that," Old Deng said with emotion, "We cared too little about you."

"That's nothing, Professor. No one has any obligation to do that!"

Sainz took Old Deng around the stairs up and down.

"Not bad," Old Deng returned to the living room, grabbed a few preserved fruits and put them into his mouth, nodding his head with satisfaction, not knowing whether he was talking about the house or the food.

Sainz didn't beat around the bush. "Professor, look, my house is empty. Do I need a housekeeper?"

Old Deng paused while eating. "I was wondering why you called me here so formally. So this is your purpose?"

"It can't escape your discerning eyes. I specially invited you here to prove to you that I am capable of giving a house-elf a home. What do you think?"

Old Deng said noncommittally: "They have their own ideas. We have no right to decide whether they stay or go."

"Of course I know that, Professor. If I hadn't discussed it with them, I wouldn't have dared to bring it up to you."

"them?"

"Yes, two!"

"A pair?"

"Not married yet."

"When did you make contact?"

"As soon as I enter school!"

"..." Old Deng rubbed his brows tiredly, "You think too far ahead!"

"If you don't think about the future, you will have immediate worries!"

Old Deng murmured, "If a man does not think about the future, he will have immediate worries..." Then he clapped his hands and stood up, "What a wise saying!

Since you have already arranged everything, I can't be the bad guy who ruins the perfection."

"I knew you were the most reasonable person!"

"Okay, you've signed the employment contract and are now a member of the Hogwarts faculty. You can return to school."

"Okay, without further ado, professor, let's go get my two employees on the job now, shall we?"

Old Dumbledore had already agreed, so there was nothing wrong with his request. After enjoying the delicious food on the table, the two returned to the headmaster's office at Hogwarts together.

Old Dumbledore threw a note into the fireplace. "Professor McGonagall, I need you to bring these two house-elves up here."

About ten minutes later, Professor McGonagall led the trembling Conte and Jinling to the principal's office.

"Good day, Professor McGonagall!"

The corner of Professor McGonagall's mouth twitched, revealing a fleeting smile, "Good day, Assistant Professor Autumn!"

"Mr. Principal!" x2, the two elves greeted each other cautiously, nervously waiting for the judgment of fate.

"Don't be nervous. Mr. Autumn just told me that he wants to invite you to become his house elf. What do you think?"

Conte and Jinling looked at everyone in the office nervously. After all, Conte had followed Sainz longer and was braver than Jinling. She was the dominant one between the two.

She glanced at the headmaster, lowered her head in shame and said, "Conte is an elf at Hogwarts and shouldn't have any other ideas, but...but Mr. Autumn...he is so kind...so great...he gave Conte a new job...he also invited Conte to be his house elf...Conte...Conte is willing...Conte wants to serve Mr. Autumn."

Jinling quickly and nervously agreed, "Jinling also wants to be Mr. Autumn's house-elf!"

The two elves were trembling nervously, their eyes full of desire and fear.

"Don't be nervous!" Old Deng comforted them. "Don't be nervous. I won't stop any reasonable request. I'm just confirming with you that it is indeed your wish."

The two elves nodded quickly, "Great Headmaster Dumbledore, we volunteer to be Mr. Autumn's house elves."

Old Deng nodded with satisfaction, then looked at Sainz, who understood and took out two sets of miniature butler suits that had been prepared long ago.

Because of the special ecological rules of house elves, Sainz made these two sets of clothes himself. They are strong and wear-resistant, self-cleaning, self-repairing, adaptive in size, shape, and color...

Old Deng waved his hand and two dressing rooms appeared. He said with a smile, "Go change!"

The two elves bowed respectfully to everyone present, each picked up a set of clothes and walked into a dressing room. A moment later, the two elves, who had changed into brand new butler uniforms, respectfully returned the neatly folded Hogwarts tea towels to Professor McGonagall.

"Thank you, kind Mr. Dumbledore, thank you, respected Mrs. McGonagall!" After thanking the two, the two elves came to Sainz and called him affectionately: "Master!"

"Okay, no need to be polite, you can go home first."

The elves bowed, went out and left downstairs.

"Professor, I have to thank you for your tolerance."

"You earned the elf's respect yourself."

Professor McGonagall looked at Sainz with satisfaction, "Assistant Professor Autumn, you can go directly to Hagrid regarding your work arrangements."

"Professor, why don't you just call me Autumn or Sainz? It sounds weird."

"Then you have to adapt quickly!" Professor McGonagall made a rare joke, "Otherwise people won't be able to tell whether you are an assistant or a student!

Come on, follow me and choose an office!"

"Don't worry, Professor. I have a donation of 30,000 Galleons that I want to hand over to you!"

"Are you kidding!"
