Chapter 495 The Kind DaughterAhsoka is saved
"No!" A firm and gentle voice sounded. It was the voice of my daughter.
Everyone turned to her, she walked towards Ahsoka, knelt in front of her head, and gently placed her hand on Ahsoka's forehead. She closed her eyes, and a hazy light suddenly flashed around her.
"Yes, we still have a chance to save her," the daughter said.
In an instant, everyone's eyes were focused on her.
Vision whispered, "Can I?"
"This is the result of my brother's actions," the daughter said bluntly, "his corruption, the defilement of this young girl whose life force was fading. But I have the power to counteract it."
Hearing this, the father's eyes suddenly widened and he looked at his daughter in surprise.
"No! You can't do this, it will destroy the balance!" he shouted.
Facing her father's objection, the daughter said with a sad look: "I have to do this. It's my nature. Isn't it our fault? Who brought such pain to them? Why do they have to suffer because of our arrogance and division?"
The Father tried to speak, but could not refute.
"Very good, dear." The Heavenly Father finally acquiesced to his daughter's decision.
At this point, Anakin stared at his daughter nervously.
"Can you really save her?" There was a desire almost like pleading in his voice.
The daughter nodded and knelt in a more comfortable position, motioning for Spider-Man to put Ahsoka down, which he did.
The daughter turned to Anakin, "I will need your help to do this."
Anakin also knelt beside Padawan, shoulder to shoulder with his daughter, ready to receive further instructions.
Then, the daughter turned her gaze to the other person between them—"And you."
When this was said to Spider-Man, he was surprised and confused.
"Wait, what? Me?" Spider-Man shook his head in confusion. "How can I have the power of Mambo-Mac to..."
“It is precisely because you have nothing that you can have a greater influence on what is about to happen.” The daughter explained, “The transfer of life energy is a delicate matter that requires donors, recipients, and anchors.”
Black Panther slowly turned his head and looked up at the boundless sky. He said, "We can't delay any longer."
Everyone nodded in agreement, and the three prepared themselves for the important moment that was about to come.
The daughter instructed Anakin and Spider-Man to adjust Ahsoka's position so that she was lying flat on the ground, with Anakin on her left side and Spider-Man on her right side.
Spider-Man looked nervous and confused, "Hey, what the hell am I supposed to do?"
Obi-Wan calmly soothed, "Peter, just relax. Whatever happens, remember our sensory training. Let everything flow through you naturally. You will know what to do next."
Although Spider-Man still felt a little uneasy, he nodded and looked at Ahsoka again. He stared into her lifeless eyes, and in an instant, his determination hardened.
He took a deep breath and locked eyes with Anakin, and they both nodded in unison, the silent signal that his daughter was about to begin her ritual.
She closed her eyes and began to breathe slowly and steadily, raising her hands to the air. With each breath, her body briefly glowed brighter, then dimmed slightly, but her glow grew stronger with each breath.
This continued for several seconds until she was almost a blinding pillar of pure light. Vision, Black Panther, and Obi-Wan had to squint or shield their eyes with their hands to avoid the irritation of the light.
The Father watched all this quietly, his eyes filled with sadness and regret. However, the daughter had already gained the strength she needed. She stretched out her hands to the two people beside Ahsoka.
After tapping Anakin on the shoulder, the Jedi Knight's body was surrounded by his daughter's white light, his body gradually turned golden white, and his irises disappeared into the pure white light.
Anakin's hands reached out to Ahsoka, one resting on the top of her head while the other rested on her heart.
When Spider-Man was touched by his daughter, he felt a different force than Anakin and his daughter had felt. It was different, but just as powerful and mysterious. His eyes flashed a bright, dazzling white-blue light, and his hand came gently to Ahsoka's heart. The light seemed to shine through his white lenses, which were particularly eye-catching against the white decals adorning his black clothes.
Both of them were in an indescribable state. For Anakin, he felt like he was at the heart of the Force. The energy of the universe danced and roared within him, strengthening his every sense, only those constraints could be broken. This feeling was like nothing he had ever experienced before.
It was a… it was a state of oneness. He was one with the Force. He had heard of this ability, this power, from many Jedi Knights, but few could even come close to achieving it. It took years of practice, or a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in a life-or-death struggle.
He seemed to have crossed the constraints of time and space, and experienced all timelines, all spaces, all events and things. From microscopic atoms to macroscopic star clusters, Anakin could feel it all, and it was all concentrated on Ahsoka.
At the same time, Spider-Man was experiencing something completely different. He felt as if he was swimming or falling in an endless abyss, and this feeling was indescribable.
"What is this?" Spider-Man wondered.
"Help!"
Spider-Man's eyes widened, immediately recognizing the voice as Ahsoka's cry.
"Ahsoka!" he called out, and though he wasn't sure he had said it out loud, he was sure he had said it in his mind. He looked around frantically, trying to concentrate on hearing her voice again, but found that he couldn't.
Then, the voice of "Help!" rang out again.
Where is she? Spider-Man wondered anxiously.
"Damn, what does she mean by this... Anchor point..." A thought flashed through Spider-Man's mind, and even though he felt he had gained nothing, he continued to move, looking for any trace of Ahsoka.
At this moment, Obi-Wan's words echoed in Spider-Man's mind: "Whatever happens, remember our sensory training. Let everything flow freely through you. You will know what to do."
He thought back to his chosen purpose, to be Ahsoka's "anchor." To let everything flow naturally.
Deep in the hearts of the two, a silent conversation is going on. Although they are in different situations, they are trying to find each other and a way out. And the answer to all this may be deep in their hearts, waiting to be discovered... He spoke silently, but his eyes were always focused. In the air around him, tiny fragments began to emerge like asteroids. Spider-Man will use these fragments to add advantages to his actions.
He stretched out his hand and projected a beam of light toward a floating object in the distance, like an invisible net. He pulled hard, and his body swayed with it, searching for his friend.
With every movement, the pressure that was restraining him around him eased a little.
Is this because of him? No, it must be someone else.
Was it because of his daughter? Anakin? Or his clothes?
After regaining his balance, he felt as if he were in an empty space. He closed his eyes, but his six senses were fully open.
He waited there for a few seconds until he sensed something.
No, it's her existence!
Spider-Man suddenly opened his eyes, fixed his gaze forward, and projected the beam of light again.
This time, it seemed to break through the invisible barrier and grab the entity on the other side.
As the beam pulled, Ahsoka's figure gradually emerged from the abyss and finally fell into Spider-Man's arms.
"Ahsoka," he whispered, hugging her close.
Ahsoka didn't react at first, until she trembled slightly. Her face was as pale as paper, and her veins were as black as ink. But the moment he held her in his arms, the color of her veins began to fade, and her bright orange skin gradually returned.
He could see her eyes moving beneath her eyelids. After a few seconds, she opened them, revealing a pair of crystal blue eyes that Spider-Man was familiar with...
Spider-Man felt that he loved those blue eyes at the moment, at least they were no longer the disturbing paranoid yellow she used to be.
Ahsoka, on her part, looked dazed and confused, and after a moment her eyes fell on the boy holding her.
"Peter?" she asked softly, and that was all the conversation took before they were surrounded and consumed by the light, which enveloped them both.
Ahsoka's body gradually regained its vitality, her originally dull complexion was gradually replaced by a healthy hue, and the black blood vessels that once seemed so prominent gradually faded.
In the following time, everything seemed to fall into silence, with only the occasional cough echoing in the air.
Suddenly, there was a violent jolt that caused Ahsoka to fall sideways, but the jolt allowed her to breathe in precious oxygen again.
"Wow, Ahsoka," a familiar voice said, "You've been through quite a bit."
"Let her take it easy."
Ahsoka managed to sit up, and though her vision was still blurry, she gradually regained her sense of direction. The first person she saw was Anakin Skywalker, his face filled with relief and joy, and his eyes were full of tears.
"Master...Master?" she asked softly.
Her Master chuckled softly before hugging his Padawan. "Hey, little brat." His voice was full of love and concern.
As her eyes turned to the other Jedi Masters and the people around her, she was confused. She noticed Spider-Man, whose black mask seemed to have disappeared, revealing his glowing red eyes.
"Uh...this...what is going on?" she asked in a hoarse voice.
"You want the short version, or the real version where you're still alive?" Obi-Wan quipped.
"It just confuses me more," Ahsoka said with a wry smile, causing the people around them to laugh.
Finally, all the noise stopped as a heavy sigh spread through the air.
Everyone turned around and saw the daughter on her hands and knees breathing heavily, her father beside her, the daughter's light had dimmed a lot, she was no longer the bright night light.
Still, she looked up at Ahsoka and smiled in relief. Her father's eyes were filled with love, even if there was obvious pain in them.
