Chapter 493 Thor
Chapter 493 Thor
In the external conflict, the situation has reached a stalemate. Although the four were able to subdue the controlled Ahsoka and try to knock her down, she created unpredictable difficulties in various ways. No matter what power she was given, she could easily turn it into a real threat.
"We must stop her," Obi-Wan said calmly.
"But what's going on?" Spider-Man asked confusedly, "I tried to tie her up with webs but she was able to break free easily."
Black Panther said: "The power of the Son is used to corrupt everything." He looked at Padawan through the gap in his helmet.
"I am willing to try anything to free my Padawan from the Son's control," Anakin said firmly, as he heard the voice of his former master.
Obi-Wan drew the dagger, and turquoise flames burst from the hilt of the dagger, revealing its true form. "Our plan is to cut off her from the puppet master," he explained.
"What is that?" Spider-Man asked in awe.
"That dagger can kill the Son." Obi-Wan pointed directly at Ahsoka, his tone firm.
When the polluted Padawan saw the dagger, something seemed to be triggered inside her, and her voice became evil and distorted.
"Well, that doesn't sound good." Someone interrupted, his tone full of worry.
They have to do more than just subdue Ahsoka, they have to stop the Son's power from continuing to do evil. They need to unite and face this tough challenge together. Ahsoka rushes into the battlefield, determined to eliminate the four people in front of her. Inside the tower, a fierce battle is unfolding between the siblings and the Avengers.
"You don't have to do this, stop it." A voice sounded in the chaos.
"This is impossible."
The Son was undeterred, and he unleashed a torrent of black and red Force lightning to collide with the beam from the Mind Stone. The two forces wrestled with each other, seeking dominance. Vision struggled to keep his balance, but his daughter provided him with additional strength.
However, this was still not enough to resist the Son's more powerful attack. He poured more strength into it, making the battle more intense. On the other side of the room, the two were fighting intently, and at this moment, the appearance of a person broke the tense situation.
"Stop!" he shouted.
With a loud bang, the Son, Daughter, and Vision were pushed out of the throne room by a powerful force and crashed into the courtyard. The people in the courtyard stopped fighting when they saw them coming.
The Son of God was the first to recover and he stood up.
"You must stop this madness immediately."
Looking up, the Son of God saw his father standing on the high ground with a cold look in his eyes.
"Father, I'm glad you could join us for our little gathering," the Son of God said coldly, his voice full of venomous malice.
"I won't let you make the same mistake again." The father's voice was firm and cold. "End it all, my son."
"You are too weak for me, old man. You are of no use to me anymore, go to hell!"
The Son showed no sign of weakness, and unleashed another lightning blast that knocked the others back, before firing a concentrated burst of Force lightning at his father. However, his father easily blocked the force with his hands.
"No more restraints, no more containment, no more weakness!"
As the Son roared, his power increased once again, and the Son broke through his father's defenses, knocking the being to the ground. He began to violently electrocute him.
"Anakin!" Obi-Wan called out to his former student, seeing that he was closest to them. "Hurry, take it!"
Jedi Master Obi-Wan threw the dagger he had taken from the altar, but suddenly, Ahsoka pounced on the Master with incredible speed and caught the dagger steadily.
Spider-Man instinctively tried to bind her with webs, but she easily cut through the bonds with her lightsaber and dagger. She rushed towards the Son like the wind and jumped to his side.
She glanced back at Anakin and Spider-Man before raising her dagger high with a smug grin on her face.
The Son finished electrocuting his father and turned to his servants with a satisfied smile. He proudly announced, "Everything went exactly as I planned."
The father looked up and saw that what Ahsoka held was none other than the Mortis Dagger, and he gasped in horror.
"Did you take them to the altar?" he asked, turning to his daughter, his eyes full of reproach.
"I'm sorry, father," the daughter replied, deeply regretting her actions. With the help of Obi-Wan and Vision, she stood up again and said sadly, "I don't know how else I can stop my brother."
The Son held out his hand to Ahsoka.
"Give it to me, kid," he said in a commanding voice.
"Ahsoka, don't!" Anakin and Spider-Man shouted at the same time, but when Ahsoka looked back at them, her eyes were full of struggle and conflict.
A force of resistance surged in her heart, but the control of the Son of God enveloped her more tightly. Finally, when she grinned, she suddenly raised the dagger and gently placed it in the hand of the Son of God.
"Thank you," he said with satisfaction, "your role has ended."
The Son of God touched Ahsoka's forehead with two fingers. Ahsoka rolled her eyes and fell stiffly. The Jedi Knights and Avengers below witnessed all this, and their hearts were filled with fear and despair.
As thunder and lightning split the sky, Ahsoka's lightsaber slipped from her hands.
Spider-Man and Anakin shouted in grief and rushed forward angrily. In the fierce contest, the power displayed by the Son made it impossible for everyone to get close to him. Any attempt to defeat him was in vain and was resisted by his powerful strength.
At this time, the clouds in the sky once again made deafening thunder.
Vision's gaze suddenly shifted away from his daughter and Obi-Wan, and he shot a beam of light at the Son.
The Son reacted quickly, deflecting the beam with his dagger and deftly sending it back at Vision.
The black panther followed closely behind, and rushed towards the Son with a swift spinning kick, but the Son easily caught and countered it. He used only one hand to firmly grasp the black panther's foot and easily threw it away.
Then, the Son of God turned around, raised the dagger, and pointed it directly at his father. His eyes were firm and cold, as if announcing the upcoming decisive battle. The father who saw this scene showed shock and confusion in his eyes.
At the same time, the daughter rushed forward and tried to stop the impending tragedy, but time seemed to slow down at this moment, making her actions particularly difficult.
Just when Mortis's dagger was only inches away from his father, a pure and flawless beam of light descended from the sky, piercing through the clouds and landing accurately between the Son and his father. Everyone's eyes were attracted by this seemingly eternal beam of light until it finally disappeared into the sky.
Then, a lone figure appeared before everyone. It was a man in fantastic armor, wearing a blue tunic with red piping that matched his black pants. The tunic was covered with silver coverings, and the cape was bright red, connecting to his black vest at the shoulders. His arms were decorated with chain mail, and on his feet were a pair of exquisite black knee-high boots.
In his right hand he held a humming hammer. His hair was blond, his eyes were electric blue, and his beard was thick and striking. He slowly put the hammer down and his eyes turned to the Son and the Father, finally resting on the latter.
"Are you the being called Heavenly Father?" he asked immediately.
His father could only respond with a shocked look, unable to express his emotions in words.
"I am--"
"Thor!" Vision almost exclaimed.
This uninvited guest is none other than Thor Odinson, the god of thunder and the prince of Asgard.
He turned around and asked in surprise: "Vision? How did you--"
The sudden appearance of Thor made the whole scene more complicated and tense. In front of everyone, he suddenly stopped, looked around, and his eyes fell on someone, which shocked him.
"Black Panther?" Thor whispered doubtfully, "And... a Jedi?"
He turned his gaze to the side and found a lonely body, that of a young girl, who looked lifeless.
There was a trace of decay on her body, a stench of corruption and darkness, which formed a sharp contrast with the light and innocence in her heart. The source of this breath was actually another god standing next to him.
Thor is usually seen as a burly, straightforward, and combat-focused god, but after being exiled to Earth a few years ago, he learned many new skills and tactics while fighting alongside human heroes as a member of the Avengers.
One of these new abilities is called "situational awareness," as humans would say. Through this ability, Thor can feel the grief and pain of losing a friend, even if that pain stems from the actions of a single person, even if his powers far exceed those of a normal human.
He slowly turned towards the still confused creature and detected the same dark aura emanating from the girl.
"You..." Thor said slowly, "You must be the Son of God."
The red-eyed creature was clearly surprised to be recognized by the stranger named Thor.
"Son..." Thor's body began to emit crackling sounds of energy, "It is said that you are the most dangerous of the three imprisoned."
Suddenly, Thor swung his hammer, Mjolnir, and stabbed the Son's jaw violently, knocking him into the air and then slamming him to the ground.
Lightning flashed all around, and Thor walked forward.
"A man who kills innocent people so wantonly." Thor roared, "Come, let's talk. Thor wants to talk to you."
His voice echoed in the air, and the duel between gods was about to begin.
