Chapter 479 Obi-Wan: Master, do you think I am too relaxed?

Chapter 479 Obi-Wan: Master, do you think I am too relaxed?

In a hidden cave, a string of brilliant crystals burst out from the ground, surrounding the temporary camp built by Black Panther and the Jedi Master. In the center of the cave, a flame burned, illuminating the entire space.

While everyone else was asleep, Obi-Wan was alone with this sudden vision. The first crystal emerged from the ground and caught his attention. He studied it because he had a lot of ideas in his mind but no way to express them.

For the Jedi Master, such adventures were not unfamiliar. But when he sensed a strange aura, his eyes could not help but sink. This was a feeling he had not had for many years.

Obi-Wan was now more awake and alert, and he wanted to know what had made him so alert.

"Obi-Wan..." A voice sounded softly, as if coming from another world.

Obi-Wan turned his head, and the Jedi Master's body stiffened instantly. He opened his eyes wide, as if he had seen an impossible scene.

"Obi-Wan, did you do as I asked?" The voice sounded again, with an indescribable majesty.

Kenobi could hardly believe his eyes. If he had to use one word to describe his mood, it would be "terrifying". He seemed to have really seen a ghost.

There is no doubt that this is a manifestation of a soul, because the one standing in front of him is the soul of his late master Qui-Gon Jinn.

"Have you trained the child?" inquired the Soul.

Obi-Wan jumped in shock, his lightsaber igniting instantly. "Master? Why are you here?"

“I am here because you are here,” the soul replied.

"This... this doesn't explain anything, Master." Obi-Wan was struck by the warmth welling up in his chest. He could feel it, this was his Master. But he needed confirmation. "I don't understand, how could you be here?" He pointed to the cave, or the world they were in. "What is this place?"

"This is a unique world." Qui-Gon Jinn replied, "This is the channel through which the cosmic force flows. This is where the true cosmic power lies."

Obi-Wan looked confused, more confused now than ever before. "…Are we in danger?"

"This planet is both an amplifier and a magnet of force," the Soul continued. "Three are here seeking Skywalker. They believe, as I do, that he is the Chosen One. They may now notice your companion."

At this, Obi-Wan lowered his lightsaber and looked away from his former mentor.

"You're right," he whispered. "The power hidden in him surpasses that of any known Jedi. I tried my best to teach him, but... he was still willful. Although he tried hard to find balance, he always couldn't find it. This made me realize that I was not destined to guide him."

"How is this possible? Isn't this confusing to you?" Qui-Gon Jinn asked.

"Because I am not you." Obi-Wan replied helplessly.

“Is it really that difficult?”

Qui-Gon Jinn looked at Obi-Wan solemnly, "My young apprentice, you will never be able to replace me. You are you, the one and only Kenobi." Qui-Gon smiled meaningfully, "That's why I gave his training to you."

Qui-Gon Jinn said, his smile growing more serious. "If Anakin is truly the Chosen One, he would have found it here."

"What if Anakin is not the Chosen One?" Obi-Wan demanded.

Qui-Gon Jinn pondered for a moment and said, "With his power, this is a dangerous place for him. You must be prepared."

"But you mentioned our companions," Kenobi turned to Black Panther, "What role do they play in all of this?"

"Oh, about the Avengers," Qui-Gon Jinn said slowly, "Their arrival changed everything, Obi-Wan, even changed its essence."

"What do you mean?" Kenobi asked confused.

"When they first arrived here, you could feel it, the way the Force responded to their arrival was different. Their presence would change the fate of this galaxy forever," Qui-Gon Jinn further explained.

"I understand what you mean, but..." Obi-Wan hesitated to voice his concerns.

"You're worried whether this is a blessing or a curse." Qui-Gon Jinn guessed what Obi-Wan was thinking before he finished asking. He continued, "In their ranks, these people will not only change the galaxy, but also shake the order outside the galaxy."

These words made Kenobi fall into deep thought. His discussion with other members of the committee reached an unprecedented level. The news of this heavyweight news made him feel more stressed.

"It's a lot of pressure on you." Qui-Gon Jinn's voice was full of humor. "You are responsible for teaching two important people at the same time. Maybe they are not the chosen ones, but their existence is more important than you realize. But young Peter is more important than you realize."

After hearing those words, Obi-Wan slowly raised his head and looked at his old mentor, Qui-Gon Jinn.

"What?" Kenobi's voice revealed deep worry, but also a hint of curiosity. "What role did Peter play in this? What kind of person is he?"

"Don't worry, Obi-Wan." Qui-Gon Jinn's voice was calm and firm. He reached out and placed his hand on Obi-Wan's shoulder, which shocked the former apprentice. He felt no ordinary touch, but a solid support. "As long as you continue to fulfill your duties as a Jedi Knight, young Skywalker and Parker will achieve more than you have now. I have every confidence in you, Obi-Wan. This is why I entrust Anakin to you. The fate of the universe and Peter are intertwined."

Faced with all this, Kenobi fell into deep thought, his heart full of contradictions. He lowered his head and was silent for a moment.

"This makes me even more confused, Master...but I am loyal to my mission." He finally spoke, a sense of relief in his voice.

There was only silence as Obi-Wan realized that his Master's spirit had dissipated and rejoined the Force, and he stood alone, filled with mixed emotions and new realizations.
