Tina slashed her sword down, and an energy wave was released from her blade with speed. Erik just landed, and he was directly on its path. The audience was pretty sure that the wave was going to hit Erik, but it seemed like he had some leeway to avoid it. When the Sword Wave touched the body of Erik, it just passed through him as if he were a ghost and flew beyond the platform, hitting some trees in the process. The crowd went wild upon seeing that unbelievable sight. "What?! What just happened?! Did he get hit?"

"I don't know. But it looked like the technique passed through him. If that was not the case, his body would have taken the Sword Wave and suffered horribly."

The crowd was shocked to see another figure of Erik behind the armored woman. Shortly after, the figure in front of her began to distort before it disappeared. When Tina was about to swing her sword down toward him, Erik slashed his rapier with incredible speed and clashed it with her sword.

A deafening, sharp sound echoed through the camp as Tina's sword flew in the air. The parry left Tina open, and Erik immediately seized that opportunity to land a roundhouse kick to her abdomen, sending her flying for a second as well. His kick inflicted so much blunt damage on her that she could not get up no matter how much she struggled. Tina ultimately collapsed on the floor, and then the referee decided to end the match in favor of Erik. "Tina cannot fight any longer! I hearby declared Erik the winner of this match! He has advanced to the next round!"

Claps gradually reverberated around the platform. A few disappointments could be heard due to the fact that they lost their bets. Words buzzed in the crowd talking about whether they realized Erik's strength after his outstanding performance or criticized how harsh he was to his female opponent.

Officials and healers came to check the condition of Tina and immediately treat her injuries. After closing up her severe wounds, they then carried and escorted her out of the stage. Erik had made sure she would be not in danger, but he was still worried about her wellbeing, especially when she was consumed by her rage earlier. Afterwards, Erik sheathed back his blade before he stepped out of the platform. He knew that there were some criticisms mixed with the words the crowds chanted to him, but he did not care about them and just ignored them as he walked the path they had created. With his performance today, Erik was confident that he could see his name in the betting polls later. His next match or matches, if necessary, would be held the next day.
