Chapter 141 Xianzhi Town 8

Chapter 141 Xianzhi Town 8

Ah Cai had a great time and was about to leave after expressing her gratitude to the owner of the paper-making shop.

When she reached the door, she suddenly stopped and turned to face the shopkeeper, smiling and asking, "Boss, I'd like to buy some ghost money. When will you have new stock available?"

The shopkeeper rolled his eyes upon hearing this and replied helplessly, "Sir, you've already bought so many things, why are you still asking for more? You've almost emptied my shop!"

Ah Cai still smiled and said, "I'm thinking of clearing the dungeon a few more times, so I need to prepare more ghost money."

The shopkeeper looked helpless and said, "Maybe next month. These things are hard to come by. Besides, the incense and candles you hold are more effective than my paper money!"

Ah Cai suddenly realized that the incense she had used to worship the hero was the most powerful treasure. She decided to buy more incense and candles when she returned home, just in case.

After saying goodbye to the owner of the paper-making shop, Acai stood there, looking around, trying to find the two little guys.

However, there was complete silence, no movement. She couldn't help but frown, muttering to herself, "Where on earth did these two guys go? How come they disappeared in the blink of an eye and can't find their way back?"

A Cai sighed helplessly. She opened the map and looked at it carefully.

She scanned the map, trying to find some clues. Suddenly, her eyes lit up as she spotted a special mark.

"Ok?"

Ah Cai scratched his chin in confusion and stared at the mark for a long time, but still couldn't figure out where it was.

On the map, the marked location is next to the dungeon entrance, but there are no other obvious signs or hints around it.

Acai hesitated for a moment, and finally decided to walk over and take a look according to the markings on the map.

After all, the two little guys had been staying there for a long time, and if something happened, she had to rush over as soon as possible.

Ah Cai quickened her pace and soon arrived at the location marked on the map. She saw the two little guys standing next to a huge rock, seemingly studying something.

Ah Cai walked closer and found some strange symbols and patterns carved on the stone. She asked curiously, "What are you looking at?"

The two little guys looked up and jumped for joy when they saw Ah Cai. They pointed at the symbols and patterns on the stone and chattered non-stop.

A Cai observed carefully and found that these symbols and patterns seemed to be an ancient writing.

She frowned, considering the meaning of the words.

Seeing that Acai didn't respond, the two little guys began to use their little paws to gesture on the stone, trying to explain the meaning of these symbols and patterns.

Acai couldn't help laughing when she saw their cute appearance.

She decided to help the two little ones solve the mystery, so she began to study the symbols and patterns carefully.

Acai recorded all the symbols and took photos.

A Cai looked up at the sky. The sun was already very high. She estimated that it was almost noon, so she decided to take the two little guys to have lunch first, and then go to check out the dungeon.

Thinking of this, she smiled happily. She turned to look at Jin Yuanbao and Huang Jin Raccoon and said with a smile, "Xiaobao, smell it and see which restaurant has the best food. That's where we'll go!"

After hearing what Ah Cai said, Jin Yuanbao's eyes sparkled. He quickly jumped onto the golden raccoon's head and began to sniff out the delicious aroma wafting down the street. His little nose kept moving, trying to find the most tempting smell.

Finally, Jin Yuanbao pointed his little paw forward, as if he had found his target.

The golden raccoon dogs cooperated tacitly and ran quickly, and Acai followed closely behind them.

Ah Cai came to the door of a small shop which was in a fairly tidy house. She looked up and saw four big characters written on the sign: Xianzhi Yuanlai.

Ah Cai looked at the name of the restaurant and thought that this restaurant should use "Xianzhi mushroom" as the main ingredient in various dishes.

So she walked into the shop happily.

As soon as I entered the door, a waiter came up to me and greeted me warmly, "Sir, please come in! Do you need a private room?"

A Cai nodded, indicating her need, and then followed the waiter into a private room.

The waiter was busy pouring tea for Ah Cai while asking, "Sir, have we met somewhere before?"

Ah Cai smiled and replied, "Yes, I saw you guys at the market this morning. Were you setting up a stall to sell things?"

The waiter smiled and said, "Yes, in the morning when we have nothing to do, we will go out and set up a stall to sell some local specialties like Xianzhi cakes."

A Cai nodded, thinking that she had not recognized the wrong person.

Then, Acai started to order food. She looked at the menu carefully and ordered all the special dishes related to Xianzhi.

Seeing this, the waiter couldn't help but remind him, "Sir, you ordered so many dishes, I'm afraid one person can't finish them all!"

Ah Cai smiled and explained, "I have two pets, and they like to eat these, too. If I can't finish them, I can pack them up and take them away."

After saying that, she continued to order other dishes.

When all the dishes were served, the two little ones came out of hiding and squatted on the chairs, waiting for their meals in a proper manner!

Ah Cai looked at their cute appearance, smiled and helped them pick up the food, and said softly: "Come, take this steel spoon and eat!"

When Jin Yuanbao heard that it was time to eat, he was the first to pick up the steel spoon and used it like a little baby, and quite standardly!

The golden raccoon dog seemed a bit clumsy. It didn't know how to use a spoon and could only eat slowly, imitating the way the gold ingot did.

While tasting several dishes made with Xianzhi mushrooms, Ah Cai praised them endlessly, saying, "These Xianzhi mushrooms are really good, but it's a pity that I bought too few. I'll buy some more later so that Grandma Ma and the others can try them too!"

Jin Yuanbao squinted his eyes as he ate, and said contentedly, "Master, please buy more of this Xianzhi cake! It tastes so good!"

The golden raccoon dog beside him nodded in agreement, "And we should buy more of this Xianzhi honey, it's sweet and delicious!"

Ah Cai took good care of the two little ones and was so busy that sweat broke out on her head.

I wiped the sweat off my head. I really made trouble for myself! Next time I will just let them eat the buns. It will save me trouble!

Let them eat slowly. Ah Cai called the waiter and asked him to pack 100 more portions of each kind of Xianzhi cakes for her.

The waiter was so happy to see Ah Cai eating and taking the food at the same time that he hurried to the kitchen to help pack up.
