Chapter 359 I will always wait for you

Chapter 359 I will always wait for you

After several months of training, Su Ming began participating in actual missions. These missions sometimes involved infiltrating enemy strongholds under cover of night, while others involved disguising himself as a merchant to gather intelligence. During one such operation, Su Ming came into contact with a woman named Ali, a key enemy intelligence agent. Upon their initial meeting, Ali's beauty and intelligence captivated Su Ming. However, he knew his responsibilities and could not be swayed by emotions.

As time goes by, the relationship between Su Ming and Ali becomes increasingly complicated. By chance, they are forced to join forces to deal with the enemy's pursuit. In the tense atmosphere, Su Ming finds that his feelings for Ali are growing stronger. However, he also knows that this road is full of dangers.

On a crucial mission, Su Ming must infiltrate enemy headquarters and obtain crucial information. At night, clad in black combat gear, he silently approached the seemingly immovable building. His heartbeat was resounding in the silence. He took a deep breath, telling himself not to retreat.

As he advanced deeper into enemy territory, he suddenly encountered Ali. She was trapped in a secret room, facing the danger of discovery. Instantly, they both understood that their fates were once again intertwined. Su Ming instinctively reached out and grasped Ali, his eyes etched with determination.

"We must leave together!" he whispered, thinking that whether he could protect her in this chaotic era would be his greatest test.

During their escape, they relied on tacit understanding and wit to evade the enemy's pursuit, navigating narrow alleyways until they finally reached a secluded safe house. Inside, Su Ming and Ali stared at each other, and time seemed to stand still. Deep within Su Ming, an emotion ignited, a feeling inexpressible.

"If it weren't for the war, we might have a different life." Ali said softly, with a hint of sadness in her eyes.

"We will find our own future," Su Ming said firmly, knowing in his heart that although their future was full of unknowns, at this moment they were the only light in his heart.

As the mission progresses, Su Ming's identity gradually becomes known to the enemy, and the crisis around him intensifies. Every mission feels like walking on a knife's edge, where even the slightest misstep could lead to death. In this silent struggle, Su Ming must not only face his enemies, but also contend with the conflicting feelings and responsibilities he harbors towards Ali.

Despite the uncertainty, Su Ming refuses to retreat. He knows it's these people, these emotions, that keep him moving forward with even greater resolve. He's willing to pay the price for his choices and fight for the love he holds within his heart. In this turbulent era, his story continues, awaiting the next test of fate.

Under the shadow of the Anti-Japanese War, Su Ming and Ali's relationship grew increasingly complicated. After their escape that night, they rested in the safe house. The moonlight from outside filtered through the curtains, casting a particularly gentle light on the floor. Yet, the atmosphere inside was heavy, like a heavy stone weighing down their hearts.

Su Ming sat in a corner, looking at Ali, his heart full of contradictions. He realized that his feelings for this woman had gone beyond a simple mission relationship, but he also knew that in such a situation, any emotion could become a fatal weakness.

"What are you thinking about?" Ali's voice was as gentle as the night breeze, but it interrupted Su Ming's thoughts.

"I wonder what we'd be like if this war were over," he answered honestly, a warm feeling welling up in his heart.

Ali was slightly startled, a complex emotion flashing in her eyes, and then she smiled bitterly and said, "This is not something we can control. Perhaps, all of this will collapse in an instant."

"But at least we are together now." Su Ming's voice was firm. Although he knew that this reality was still dangerous, he was willing to cherish every moment.

In the stillness of the night, in this little room, they gradually let go of the pressures that weighed on them. Su Ming told Ali about his youth, those simple, happy times, and how he had been drawn into this war. His voice was soft, as if he were recounting a distant story.

"I once wanted to be a photographer, to record beautiful moments." He smiled faintly, his eyes filled with nostalgia, "But now, I can only use my life to record this war."

Ali listened quietly, her eyes gleaming with understanding. She knew that Su Ming's choice was not driven by a desire for war, but by his helplessness and anticipation for the future.

"I hope that one day we can see the sun again." Ali said softly, a glimmer of hope for the future burning in her heart.

"We definitely will." Su Ming responded seriously. Although he still felt uneasy, he was willing to believe this promise.

A few days later, the situation intensified. Su Ming received a new mission: to infiltrate a key enemy stronghold and obtain crucial intelligence. Although Ali felt uneasy, she knew it was Su Ming's duty and could not stop him. She whispered to him, "You must be careful. I'm worried about losing you."

"I will." Su Ming held Ali's hand, feeling her warmth, and his heart was firm.

The night before the mission, Su Ming lay in bed, tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep. His mind raced back to memories of his time with Ali, especially her gentle gaze and soft laughter. He closed his eyes, trying to lock these fond memories away, as if it could give him courage.

"If I don't come back, will you hate me?" He suddenly asked this question, secretly hoping that she could give him a firm answer.

Ali's eyes flashed with surprise, then turned gentle: "I won't hate you. Every choice has its reason. You are fighting for a greater goal."

"Then will you wait for me?" Su Ming's voice was low, with an indescribable tension in his heart.

"Of course, I will wait for you until the war is over." Ali said, with a determined light in her eyes.

The next morning, Su Ming set out. The mission was to a crucial enemy stronghold, heavily guarded and tightly defended. He mentally calculated the time and tried to remain calm. He knew that any small mistake could lead to the failure of the entire plan.

The infiltration process was like a thrilling adventure. He moved through the shadows like a ghost, constantly alert to the movements around him. In a dark room, he finally found the information. Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly heard footsteps approaching.
