"Ugh... Kane, what mental state were you in when you did these things?" Harry asked, feeling nauseous as he looked at the disgusting tentacles.
These tentacles are completely different from the tentacles that killed the troll in the abandoned toilet last time. It's like Voldemort is standing in front of you, and you know that the Voldemort in front of you is very dangerous.
But if you turn this Voldemort inside out, you'll find that this thing is definitely not human.
And the person who made this thing...
"Kane, are you really human now?" Hermione asked, taking a few steps back with a look of disgust.
"Otherwise what? Would you believe me if I told you I escaped from Area 51?"
"Honestly, I'm starting to believe it." Harry and Hermione nodded bitterly, while Ron shook his head, looking completely bewildered.
I can't understand anything.
Just as Kane and his two companions were about to continue walking inside, Hermione coughed.
"Wait, are we really going to keep going? Our initial goal was just for Kane to tell Professor Dumbledore that someone might be after the Philosopher's Stone."
"Since we're already here," Kane shrugged. That made sense. Since they'd finally come down here, they might as well adjust all the levels to be Eternal Continent. That way, when they were facing Voldemort, they'd have home-field advantage and might even get a dimensional bonus.
"But..." Hermione wanted to say something more, but a vicious snoring sound came from the direction of the trapdoor in the ceiling.
"The dog's awake?" Ron suddenly realized and said excitedly, "Then we're really stuck now. Let's keep exploring."
Just as Hermione was about to agree, Kane suddenly frowned. He had a bad feeling, and sure enough, as a familiar panpipe sound rang out, he quickly told Harry to take out the Invisibility Cloak.
Unfortunately, Harry had just pulled out a corner of the Invisibility Cloak when Pan Flute forcibly shut it down, along with everyone else.
"This is outrageous, did Quirrell have to come today?" Kane resignedly used a levitation spell to pile the three of them together, and finally put on an invisibility cloak and lay directly on top of the three of them.
Fortunately, the invisibility cloak seemed to be able to be stretched very wide, perfectly covering all four of them.
"Master, it's a success! This time, Snape didn't suddenly interfere." Quirrell's voice came softly from above the trapdoor.
Soon, Quirrell muttered a few more words of agreement to himself, and Kane knew he was echoing Voldemort.
Suddenly, as the trapdoor opened, Quirrell poked half his body in, holding up his wand that glowed, illuminating the menacing tentacles below the room.
For a moment, the air seemed to freeze. Quirrell remained motionless, and the only sound in the room was the sticky, nauseating gurgling sound of the tentacles intertwining.
About two seconds later, Quirrell crawled back out of the trapdoor, closed it again, and then, as if he couldn't believe what he had just seen, opened the trapdoor again and looked down.
It was still that same expression of disbelief, and that same disgusting snoring.
With a click, Quirrell resignedly closed the trapdoor, and Kane also lifted his invisibility cloak to let himself and the people beneath him get some fresh air.
"Luckily Quirrell wasn't there when we were in the abandoned toilet last time, otherwise it would have been another problem." Kane sighed, then sat on Harry's butt and waited for about ten minutes, estimating that Quirrell had completely gone far away before using the Levitation Charm to bring Harry, Ron, and Hermione all up with him.
The tentacles, which had been baring their fangs and claws, were now incredibly obedient. With a gurgling sound, a soft staircase led directly to the platform below and the trapdoor above.
The plan to speedrun through Dumbledore's level in one night and incidentally transform his Eternal Realm into a permanent domain has essentially fallen through.
The most important task now is to get these three back to their dorm rooms, because if they stay where they are...
What if the tentacles get hungry?
the next day.
"I've never slept so well before." Harry and Ron sat up shakily in bed, and then they realized that they shouldn't be under the trapdoor of the secret chamber on the fourth floor.
Why are you here?
The culprit was now standing in Professor McGonagall's office, admitting that after failing to break into the girls' dormitory the previous day, he used his tentacles to send Hermione into the girls' dormitory, and then casually frightened three little witches who were planning to go out at night.
"So, is there anything else you want to say?" Professor McGonagall asked quietly.
"To be honest, Professor, I still don't think I did anything wrong. Hermione was sleeping like a corpse. I couldn't exactly take her to the boys' dorm or just leave her in the common room for the night, could I?"
Professor McGonagall adjusted her glasses: "You did nothing wrong in this matter. I'm just confirming that you're not hiding anything else. However, if something similar happens again, I suggest you take the person who fainted to the infirmary."
Kane nodded in agreement, like a chick pecking at rice.
"I will, Professor."
"I'm just telling you the correct way to handle this kind of situation... I hope it won't happen again."
After Professor McGonagall finished speaking, she told Kane to leave, while she went to the infirmary to visit the three frightened young wizards.
"What a sin," Kane sighed and walked toward the principal's office.
He needs to ask Harry about the origins and brand of the invisibility cloak, especially if it's too expensive...
There should be a Gringotts Bank job in the wizarding world... right?
dong dong dong...
Dumbledore rubbed his eyes, opened the door, and yawned again: "Seriously Kane, you come to my office more often than you go to the Great Hall for dinner."
"Hmm, shouldn't you be happy?"
"9
Dumbledore:
"...If you could come at a different time, what's the matter?"
"Do you know which brand of invisibility cloak is the best?" Dumbledore knew what Kane was going to do as soon as he finished speaking.
"You're after Harry's Invisibility Cloak, aren't you? Unfortunately, that's a family heirloom of the Potters, and it's likely to be discontinued. There won't be another one like it. If you want to become invisible, I can teach you the Illusion Charm," Dumbledore said.
"Disillusionment Charm, invisibility... no, that can't be the reason. I can sense that Harry's invisibility cloak is amazing." After Kane finished speaking, Dumbledore only pondered for a moment.
"Harry's Invisibility Cloak comes from one of the legendary Deathly Hallows of the three brothers. If it has any magical properties, it can only be used to evade the gaze of Death. Kane, what exactly did you do with that Philosopher's Stone?"
"So Death is lurking in the shadows, watching you?" Dumbledore said slowly, his eyes fixed on Kane.
