This artifact possesses formidable offensive capabilities: it can target any visible object or creature, triggering an irreversible ignition process. Regardless of whether the target possesses fire resistance, magical protection, or elemental immunity, its atomic structure will be forcibly excited to a high-energy state. The burning will continue until all macroscopic matter within the target area is completely reduced to ashes, and any attempt to extinguish it—including time-reversal spells or even divine intervention—cannot stop this devastating incineration.
Furthermore, similar to the Blazing Wind Crown, the Entropy Core allows its wielder to freely transform into a pure fire element. However, while this artifact is incredibly powerful, it also comes with several negative effects: frequent use of atomic-level incineration may lead to...
Chapter 275
This causes permanent disruption to the magic field within the area, forming a dead magic zone or a wild magic zone similar to a chaotic sea; simultaneously, the wielder will gradually develop symptoms of body crystallization due to continuous elementalization. However, these negative effects are meaningless in the trial instance.
With the artifact's blessing, the swarm of insects was no longer an obstacle. Casalos enjoyed a rare moment of mowing down enemies in the Dragon's Vault dungeon. The insects, ignited by the flames, exploded like fireworks, showering down loot and causing its in-game power to surge rapidly. Choosing each piece of loot became a blissful dilemma.
However, this trouble didn't last long. The Chaos Hound finally came into view. The last time he clashed with this creature, Casalos almost perished alongside it, but now it was no longer a threat.
"It's just a projection of an old dog without any intelligence," Casalos sneered inwardly.
With a strength far surpassing that of ordinary ancient dragons, a surge of 47 HD life force is currently flowing through Casaroz's body. From the wild power brought by Bloodscale Frenzy to the exquisite spells wielded by a high-level mage, coupled with the various buffs from his epic-level magical equipment, the "young dragon's" combat power is increasing exponentially.
"Let's see how long you can last this time!" Casalos grinned, opened his dragon beak, and slammed it shut, sending sparks flying as they were scattered by the gale.
Seemingly sensing the threat instinctively, a hint of wariness flashed in the Chaos Hound's eyes, which were burning with chaotic fire. Then, it raised its head and let out a soul-shaking howl before launching an attack.
A terrifying howl rippled outwards, materializing into waves. Casalos unleashed his berserk fury, confronting the attack with terrifying force. His "Calm Mind" ability made him as solid as a rock during the soul attack, but the surrounding swarm of insects was not spared. Lower-level insects plummeted to the ground, exploding maggots shattered into acidic fragments, and higher-level insects, clad in elemental shells, hissed and descended into chaos.
Taking advantage of this brief moment, the Chaos Hound's massive body vanished abruptly, and in the next instant, it appeared on Casalos's flank, its enormous jaws opening to bite down, spewing acid.
Casalos activated at the last second, its wings snapping shut as its dragon body shot down vertically like an arrow. The demon hound's sharp teeth barely grazed the tips of its tail scales, but the splashed acid was blocked by a layer of bloody light—the supernatural resistance of the Blood Scales neutralized the corrosive damage. The dragon didn't stop; it turned and unleashed a breath of blazing fire. Flames and sparks bound the Chaos Demon Hound's body like chains, peeling away layers of maggot-like flesh every second.
"Awooo..." The Chaos Demon Hound raised its head and roared like a husky, as maggots swarmed from its wounds, quickly filling the gaps. Its regeneration was almost instantaneous, easily offsetting the continuous burning of tens of thousands of layers of blazing flames. The existence of god-like power was indeed unreasonable.
The vicious dog teleported again, this time appearing directly above Casalos's head, its claws crackling down with a storm of acid.
The dragon's reaction was still perfect; a violent elemental eruption exploded around it, forming a vortex of lightning and fire that engulfed the Chaos Hound. The dragon's body transformed into incandescent flames and shot into the distance. Even with the aid of the artifact, elementalization was still slightly delayed at this level of combat, and the aftershocks of the hound's claw strike still grazed the dragon's wings, the claws scraping against Casalos's not-yet-fully-elemental scales with a piercing metallic scraping sound.
The layers of damage reduction were easily torn apart by the claws carrying divine destructive power, forcing Casalos to stagger in mid-air.
Knowing that melee combat was Chaos Hound's domain, even though it was now stronger than Grommash Hellscream in this round, Casalos decisively created distance. After exiting its elemental form, it flapped its wings and accelerated, magical light swirling around its body, shaping it into a more suitable fluid form, its flight path suddenly becoming a blur.
At the same time, it began to coordinate the power of the elements, replacing its original fire breath with noble radiant damage that could suppress dark forces, unleashing it in a high-frequency pattern. A barrage of radiant projectiles rained down, covering a vast area. The Chaos Hound's figure flickered constantly during the attack, each teleport precisely avoiding fatal blows. The omnipresent swarm of insects could only explode and fall in the rain of light, providing Casalos with more stacks of blazing flames and new loot.
The Chaos Hound was unfazed by attrition warfare, but Casalos grew stronger with each battle. The hound's patience wore thin, and it suddenly opened its maw, unleashing a cone-shaped torrent of acidic breath that seemed to corrode and crack space itself. The dragon unleashed an energy storm, using a barrier of lightning and fire to evaporate most of the acid. Even so, the remaining acid damaged the dragon's scales, which were immune to the strong acid. More fatally, the Chaos Hound used its breath as cover to teleport again, anticipating the dragon's flight path, and slammed down with a massive claw imbued with divine power, forcing Casalos to once again enter elemental form to evade.
Compared to lightning and wind, the fire elemental form was ultimately much slower, and Casalos was injured again. But this didn't matter; it also possessed rapid self-healing abilities. Boiling dragon magic and blazing life force activated the hybrid form, and the wounds caused by divine power healed at a visible speed. It once again unleashed the hurricane generated by its "Winged Storm" feat, dispersing the acid spray that filled the sky. However, the Chaos Hound once again vanished without a trace.
Using the power of the "Winged Storm," Casalos spiraled upwards, its four claws hovering in the air, creating a suspended wall of runes. The rune array flashed rhythmically from bottom to top, giving rise to arcane fire mixed with Disintegration that swept across the battlefield. The Chaos Hound's Greater Invisibility and Aerial Movement effects instantly dissipated.
The Chaos Hound, now devoid of magical protection, revealed its physical form. With nowhere to gain leverage in mid-air, its maggot-infested body was exposed to Casalos's attacks.
"caught you."
Casalos's indigo pupils contracted to vertical slits as the Entropy Core was quietly triggered. A white-hot flame erupted from the void in the Chaos Hound's chest cavity; the atomic-level "fire" eroded its very essence like a bone-deep wound, unquenchable even by divine defenses and rule-level self-healing.
The Chaos Hound let out a painful roar, its maggot-like body trembling violently, yet at this moment it displayed a terrifying resilience akin to divine power. Abandoning its defenses, it withstood the burning of the Entropy Core, unleashing its full power in a desperate, all-or-nothing attack.
In the instant space warped, the Chaos Hound appeared behind Casalos, its massive jaws snapping at the dragon's neck. A vortex, like a black hole, swirled within the hound's mouth, its powerful, independent force field-like suction restricting Casalos's ability to evade. On the brink of death, Casalos unleashed a second berserk rage, its strength and physique surging to new heights. Breaking free from the force field's constraints, it forcefully twisted its body, unleashing a breath constricted into an extremely thin line, aimed directly at the Chaos Hound's chest, while its wings extended forward to meet the dog's maw.
With a dull thud as flesh and bone collided, the Chaos Hound's teeth embedded themselves in the dragon's wing, and the wing hooks pierced the hound's mouth, prying it open and locking it in place like a dentist's mouth opener.
The canine acid and dragon blood mingled and boiled. With the help of gravity, the dragon dragged the Chaos Hound down to the ground and crashed into the sea of lava, stirring up a hundred-meter-high wave of fire.
The scorching lava boiled violently under the corrosive acid of the Chaos Hound, yet Casaloz remained standing amidst the potent poison, its tail coiled around the Entropy Core, forcefully shoving it into the hound's gaping maw. The Chaos Hound struggled to teleport away, but the dimensional anchor, along with its wing hooks, had already bound it. Dozens of high-level spells, useful or useless, were simultaneously unleashed, stirring up the chaotic elemental currents and creating a chain of explosions that tore the Chaos Hound's body to shreds.
Dragon breath was poured into the hound's mouth, which was spread open by its wings, mouthful after mouthful, and the maggots turned to ashes in the flames. The Chaos Hound was still healing itself, but the flesh that had grown back could no longer cover the blazing white flames in its chest cavity, and the unique flames shone brightly all over the hound's body.
Finally, the Entropy Core, coiled around Casalos's tail, was thrust into the Chaos Hound's chest, where it clashed with the incandescent flame, like pouring gasoline onto burning coals. The incandescent flame erupted, incinerating the Chaos Hound's entire chest cavity and vaporizing Casalos's tail and wings.
This attack suppressed the vicious dog's vitality to the point that...
Chapter 276
Once the threshold was reached, the Blazing Flame's killing mechanism finally took effect, its shimmering light engulfing the Dragon Eye like a jewel.
The aftershocks of the battle cleared away the surrounding swarms of insects, and the battlefield fell into a brief silence. The Entropy Core, having accumulated energy and exploded, fell back into the lava ocean, cooling it in a few breaths into a porous lava rock landscape.
Casalos stood majestically on the black plain shrouded in smoke and dust. Nearly half of its blood scales had been peeled away, and its wings and half of its tail were nowhere to be seen, yet it remained as imposing as a sculpture.
"That's it?"
The distant swarm of insects closed in again, but Casalos still had the strength to fight. Even if he was seriously injured, as long as he could hold on during the game, his injuries would be fully healed in just a few chests.
38. A New Turning Point
After passing the Chaos Hound, the Zerg swarm underwent a new change, with legendary units beginning to appear, significantly increasing the pressure on Casalos.
First to appear is a small, inconspicuous insect mixed in with the swarm. Its limbs are equipped with sharp, long, scythe-like weapons, its head is as thin as a hydralis, it flies faster and more agilely than Casalos, and it can spew out Shenbi-class bone spikes powerful enough to penetrate its defenses.
However, these insects are too fragile and their attack range is not far. If taken out alone, they cannot withstand a single ninth-ring spell. When mixed in with a swarm of insects, they are instantly vaporized by the chain damage of the blazing flames, and not even a single acid bubble can emerge.
The only thing that bothers the dragons is that when they die, they release a large cloud of highly toxic acid mist, which, while not harmful, greatly obstructs their vision.
The second type of insect caused Casalos some trouble.
These armored creatures, comparable in size to Grommash Hellscream, are covered in thick chitinous shells, possessing defensive capabilities and vitality even more outrageous than ordinary Primordial Red Dragons. Not only do they have abnormally high magic resistance, but they also possess their own force field defense and can fly with the agility of beetles. During their initial charge, Casalos, caught off guard by their high-frequency vibrating mandibles, failed to dodge and had a leg severed. Fortunately, the subsequent torrents of molten metal spewed by these armored creatures did little to harm Casalos—if such monsters were placed on the continent of Faerûn, a single one could probably wipe them out several times over.
Of course, Casalos, who has also grown to an absurd level within the game, is not without a countermeasure, especially with the "assistance" of the swarm. When such a behemoth appears, simply lure it into the swarm, and after two rounds of chain damage from the Blazing Flames, it can be easily wiped out, keeping the dragon's magic power active at a safe level.
The last insect to appear was the truly disgusting one.
The appearance of the colossal creature hovering above the clouds immediately put Casalos on high alert. This armor-like behemoth exceeded two hundred meters in length, with hundreds of cyst-like organs hanging from its abdomen, beneath which blue-purple arcs of electricity danced incessantly. When the cysts swelled to their limit and burst, countless tiny insects shot out, breaking the sound barrier and hurtling towards Casalos. Having learned its lesson from the armored creatures, the Iron Dragon dared not be careless and immediately used a covering spray of blazing dragon breath to intercept the swarm of tiny beings. However, the bursting of these tiny insects released massive bursts of plasma, and the smell of ozone mingled with arcs of electricity leaping across any "sharp" object, filling the entire battlefield.
Before the lightning had subsided, the cysts on the giant insect's abdomen had swelled up again and burst, launching a second wave of exploding insects. At the same time, the giant insect's fully swollen tail segment opened its petal-like structure, spewing out a plasma ball several meters in diameter.
"What arsenal warship bug..."
Casalos dodged the direct hit of this strategic weapon, watching the mushroom cloud rise from the ground and the thermonuclear shockwave sweeping across thousands of meters. He grumbled as he climbed, hoping to launch a surprise attack and quickly eliminate this troublesome target. However, he was blocked by a force field created by three layers of cloaked insects, and only managed to open a gap in the force field shield by using a disintegration spell, managing to burrow into the giant insect's abdomen and incinerate it. But just as he successfully destroyed the giant insect, its self-destruction severely injured Casalos.
Fortunately, the "legacy" left to Casalos by the Chaos Hound included a god-like high-speed self-healing ability. Survivor mode dungeons are all about endurance battles, so Casalos naturally wouldn't choose any other option.
The horrifying aspect of the giant insects lies precisely in their sheer size and formidable defense. To eliminate them quickly, one must penetrate their abdominal cavity and wreak havoc, inevitably meaning enduring the damage from their self-destruction. Otherwise, if a second giant insect appears on the battlefield, Casalos will likely be forced to declare defeat. Each giant insect's appearance brings excruciating torture. "Fire immunity" and "electric immunity," based on the elemental architecture of the realm, are completely ineffective against plasma. These giant insects are undoubtedly genuine interstellar warfare-level weapon units. The destruction of Aiur is clearly the result of an interstellar war. Casalos couldn't help but wonder if these unknown insectoids were to attack Toril, would the gods also be forced into exile like the High Priest… Considering the attitude of the AO (Alterac Valley) towards the gods, this might be an inevitable outcome.
Despite the hardships and difficulties, Casalos managed to reach a new milestone by developing its strength while fighting. A familiar magical fluctuation appeared along its zigzagging exploration path, mirroring the way the Archbishop used magic. Out of caution, Casalos activated a detection spell, which immediately transmitted back information that surprised it.
"This is... an NPC?"
A human figure was detected in Iron Dragon's senses. Although the figure didn't look human, it had basic human-like structure, which was vastly different from insects.
Casaloz's indigo vertical pupils gleamed slightly. It had received the quest to rescue the NPC from the Archbishop long ago, but this was the first time it had ever spotted any trace of an NPC in the trials of the Eldar world, despite having entered so many times before.
It increased the width of its wings and slowed down, carefully gliding in that direction while clearing away the swarm of insects. As an experienced dragon, it knew very well that caution was the wise course of action in the face of the unknown.
The figure seemed to sense Casalos's approach, flickering a few times before gradually brightening. In the light, a distinct silhouette gradually emerged: over three meters tall, with a square face, horns on its head, two eyes, two ears, a nose, a mouth, fleshy beard and hair, an incredibly strong inverted triangle upper body, blue skin with fine scales, and thick but short toeed legs with even-numbered hooves.
"Do the native inhabitants of the world of El look like this?"
With these questions in mind, Casalos continued to approach this mysterious entity—the Aiur raid was about to reach a new turning point.
The unfamiliar "NPC" looked weary and wary. A thin magical barrier formed in front of him, isolating the swarm of insects. Casalos was in no hurry. He simply stopped at a safe distance, cleared a large swarm of insects with an area-of-effect attack, and then sheathed his fangs, expressing goodwill in the most gentle manner.
“Don’t be nervous, I mean no harm,” Casalos said in Dragon Language. Quickly realizing the other party seemed not to understand Dragon Language, he switched to El language: “If I’m not mistaken, you are a native of this world?”
"You...you weren't sent by those chaotic creatures?" The blue "giant" hesitated for a moment, then slowly lowered the magic barrier. His voice was somewhat hoarse, clearly indicating that he hadn't spoken in a long time.
“Of course not. I just killed a Chaos Hound,” Casalos said softly, looking down at him. “You can think of me as an adventurer exploring this world—in fact, finding you is one of my missions.”
"An adventurer?" A glimmer of hope flashed in the blue giant's strange eyes. "Then..." He suddenly stopped, looked around, and lowered his voice, saying, "Would you be willing to do me a favor?"
Casalos nodded. This guy's behavior and reactions were more like an NPC than the Archbishop's; it was unclear whether this was a characteristic of the El race or some mechanism of the Dragon Vault.
Chapter 277
Effective. Based on past experience, the quest should be triggered now—you need to complete the NPC's quest to rescue the NPC; this is very dungeon-like.
“There’s a dark altar nearby,” the NPC said. “It’s one of the points where chaotic forces seeped into this world. If we can purify the altar and ignite the star torches, perhaps we can stop the darkness from spreading further…”
"Star Torch, where have I been sent?" Casalos couldn't help but complain.
“Wait a minute,” it interrupted the NPC, “you mean Starlight? That doesn’t sound like an easy quest.”
“It is indeed very dangerous,” the NPC admitted. “A large swarm of insects has gathered around the altar, and there are quite a few extremely powerful individuals among them. But the situation is more urgent than you think. If it is not stopped soon, the entire world will be swallowed by chaos.”
Casalos remained silent for a moment. Although this was just a dungeon world, judging from the NPC's anxious tone, it was a real life-or-death situation for him—or, as the Archbishop put it, a reality from a different timeline.
“Alright, I agree.” The young dragon muttered to himself, “What choice did I have?” He sighed and said, “But first, let me understand the specifics. For example, what exactly is this Star Torch? And what kinds of insects are guarding it…”
“The Starlight was our world’s last hope,” the NPC said, a hint of reminiscence in his eyes. “Before darkness fell, the Starlight’s light illuminated all of Eldar. But now…”
As the NPC explained, Casalos understood. This Star Torch was not the same as the other Star Torch, but their functions were almost identical. According to Iron Dragon's simplified explanation, lighting the Star Torch would complete the purification of the area, and the Archbishop could also use it to project power and rescue the NPC.
Reading the mission text means accepting the mission. A new change occurred in the encircling swarm; the previously solitary legendary insects seemed to have sensed something and multiplied, joining the swarm.
"Fortunately, there was only one giant worm."
Casalos immediately went into battle mode, ready to fight, but the NPC was even more ferocious than him. He pulled out a crystal two-handed hammer with a head larger than a human's from somewhere, leaped into the air, and slammed it down. The crystal hammer collided with the void, creating a golden force field and radiant ripples that wiped out all visible insects within the horizon.
"Damn, what do you need me for if you're this powerful?" The iron dragon's scales stood on end, an attack that even a powerful god might struggle to achieve—but this blue-skinned guy showed no signs of divine power whatsoever.
"Hurry up and keep up. I need to stay focused when I light the Star Torch. The task of stopping the subsequent Zerg swarms is up to you."
39. Milestones in Exploration
The bugs killed by the "NPC" did not drop any loot; this is probably what you'd call a "story animation."
Casalos remained silent, swishing its tail to quickly follow the powerful figure that had soared through the air.
The flight was incredibly fast, traversing the terrain. Before long, Casalos followed the "NPC" across hundreds of kilometers to reach their destination. Along the way, any insect swarms that came close were instantly killed by the powerful man's hammer strikes that shattered the void, leaving Casalos without even a trace.
The target was a black altar hidden in a desert valley, exuding a dense aura of chaos. Around the altar swarmed an even more terrifying horde of insects. Each one radiated legendary-level power, arranged in formation as if awaiting the arrival of the intruders.
Given Casalos's current growth level, he is clearly unable to deal with such a swarm of insects alone, but that is not a problem at all, because these insects will also inevitably become sacrifices in the cutscene.
"Are you ready?" the NPC asked Casalos behind him.
“Don’t worry,” the guy reassured Casalos when he remained silent. “We’ve already attracted the main force of the nearby swarms as we flew here. The ones guarding the altar are their last elites, and the swarms from other areas haven’t had time to get here. While I’m focused on lighting the Star Torch, the attacking swarms will be much fewer. Just make sure they don’t break through the barrier and disturb me.”
Having said that, he turned and landed beside the altar, planting his warhammer in the ground to create a barrier. He then knelt on one knee and began to focus on channeling his power into the altar. A spiraling beam of light, resembling a special beam cannon, focused on the altar's interface. The combined power of the force field and radiance collided with the chaotic energy polluting the altar, creating ripples of black and gold that swept across the land, reflecting and transmitting between the ground and the sky, reaching beyond the horizon.
The massive swarm of insects reappeared, but fortunately, the "NPC" hadn't misled Casalos. The swarm indeed only contained a few legendary units—at least two giant insects, positioned in two different locations. Using the horizon for cover, Casalos had the opportunity to attack them separately.
The insects were also quite fast, so it had to take the initiative. Casalos first used runes to create a large, temporary slowing field, hindering the swarm's momentum. Then, he used his fiery breath to clear a path, clearing the swarm while rapidly charging towards the giant insect on the western flank...
The NPC's focused process of igniting the Star Torch lasted a full twenty minutes, and Casalos's battle also lasted for twenty minutes—a long twenty minutes.
The three legendary insect types appeared simultaneously in multiples within the swarm, exponentially increasing the combat pressure and completely exceeding Casalos's in-game growth curve, just like when it first entered the Aiur raid. Fortunately, its early development granted it greater strength, richer abilities, more abundant equipment and items, and enough willpower to persevere through round after round of relentless cycles of severe injury-rapid self-healing-re-severe injury, finally allowing it to hold out until a dazzling pillar of light shot into the sky, dispelling the darkness that shrouded the area.
Under the focused power of the blue-skinned brute, the dark altar finally crumbled into countless black specks of light, and a golden crystal broke free, rising into the air with a trembling sound. Waves of radiant energy, identical to the NPC's hammer-wielding technique, radiated out with the crystal's tremors, reflecting and overlapping between the ground and the atmosphere, easily crushing the swarm of insects that was pushing Casalos to its limit.
The atmosphere was disturbed by the interplay of force fields and radiance, causing moisture to condense into clouds that gradually coalesced into a spiraling thunderstorm with a diameter exceeding a thousand kilometers. Countless bolts of lightning circled the upward-emitting pillar of light from the crystal, shattering the darkness.
"Thank you for your help, stranger adventurer. As the Star Torch was lit, I received a long-lost signal from the Holy God Kara..."
“Holy Kara? You still say you’re not a Protoss.” Casalos clicked his iron beak, increasingly suspicious of the Archbishop’s origins.
The blue-skinned NPC picked up his hammer, a hesitant expression on his square face. After a long while, he scratched the tentacles on his head before continuing, "It's a little different from what I expected. Your journey continues, and I'll be waiting for you outside."
After he finished speaking, his body was enveloped in a grid of blue light and disappeared the next moment.
"Huh, you're leaving already?" Casalos paused for a moment, then flapped his wings. "Never mind, let's continue with my dungeon. I wonder how big the safe zone is. Should I head to the next area, or wander around and see if I can find any 'adventures'?"
While he asked the question, he really had no choice. Although the divine power Kozif had lost allowed his body to quickly recover to its peak condition, his dragon magic and mental state were at their limits—simply put, he was at full health, empty mana, and zero sanity. Even with his extraordinary in-game recovery ability, it would still take him at least half a day to recover before he could continue. He decided to wander around, explore the safe zone and the boundaries, and even if he didn't find anything, it would be a good rest.
The trembling frequency of the Star Torch decreased to about once every half minute before stabilizing. Casalos was basically certain that igniting the Star Torch effectively created a bug-free zone in El Alter. Based on the strong sense of déjà vu surrounding the Dragon's Vault dungeon, perhaps the next time he enters the El Alter dungeon, he can directly choose to start from this safe zone.
Chapter 278
Enter the entire area. As for other benefits, they remain to be discovered for now, but the lava sea where the Entropy Core is located is within the safe zone. It should be fully charged by the next time we come, right?
If that's the case, then I can probably reliably defeat the Chaos Hound Kozif, the gatekeeper hound, in every trial from now on. It's a pity that I didn't survive long enough to find the NPC's trail when I discovered the Frostbite Crown—finding the artifact, killing the old dog, finding the NPC to light the Star Torch should be the initial fixed process for some areas of the Eldar world dungeon.
As for those areas where no artifacts are found, there's still no clue how to clear Casalos. It vaguely realizes that the difficulty of the El World dungeon is unusual, and the reason might be traced back to the Dragon Treasury being upgraded prematurely due to the primordial power that was luckily triggered during the age-gap slumber of the hatchlings to young dragons.
It should have continued to "easily and happily" run random room dungeons. Under normal circumstances, the El World dungeon might not trigger until it reaches adulthood or even older.
While clearing higher-level dungeons is more difficult, the advantages are obvious. If he were still grinding in random dungeons, Casalos would never have reached its current level; he would still be hiding in Faerûn, cautiously developing his power.
After flying around the safe zone, which was about 1200 kilometers in diameter, twice, sensing the state of the Entropy Core, and looting a few treasure chests that had been missed during the fierce battle, Casalos felt that he had recovered enough. He then randomly chose a direction and rushed out of the safe zone, only to be hit on the head.
40. Abruptly ended
As night fell in El, Casalos had just broken out of the safe zone, and the swarm of insects lying in wait hadn't even taken flight much when a humanoid figure with black wings emerged from the distorted space, emanating a cursed aura that made the dragons uncomfortable.
Before it could even react, an arrow of light, undetectable and silent, pierced through the boundary between darkness and time, striking the permanent barrier of immunity around its body and annihilating itself.
Then came the second, the third... almost simultaneously, thirteen arrows without form, trajectory, or even magical fluctuation struck Casalos, completely eroding its seven layers of defense against instant-death effects, with the remaining five piercing its dragon scales.
