“I didn’t expect there to be hackers among the ‘aliens.’ Although we lost to you, it’s okay,” Silas readjusted his emotions. “I’ve left you a gift.” The human opposite him smiled, and suddenly a compartment on the ground opened, revealing a time bomb with only ten seconds left.
"This is a trap." "Should we charge in?" The ambulance turned and ran. "We need to retreat! Quick!!" All the Autobots immediately transformed into vehicles and left. Rosa knew she had to run, but she couldn't keep up with the vehicles on foot, so she immediately extended her wings from the positions originally provided in her armor.
In an instant, wings composed of countless steel blades unfurled, and with a powerful flap, it took off.
When the wings are fully extended, the distance from the base of the wings to the longest steel blade is twice her length. (ps: This is a screenshot from the Inorganic Killer animation; see here for approximate wing and body proportions.)
All the Autobots were driving away, but Rosa flew faster than them, getting out of the blast radius first. The instant she landed, she retracted her wings, just like her tail, and vanished without a trace.
This was certainly strange; how could such large wings retract? So, after everyone was thrown to the ground by the aftershocks of the explosion, they all stood up and looked at Rosa in unison.
No wings? You must be seeing things? Arcee, noticing everyone around her staring at Rosa, realized first that everyone had seen that scene.
“Rosa… what’s that?” Arcee gestured with her fingers. “I shouldn’t… be seeing things, right?” The ambulance driver looked at Rosa uncertainly. Rosa suddenly realized the question was about her wings.
"You mean this?" The wings extended again from the space originally reserved for wings on her armor; that space was like a lid that automatically opened when something wanted to come out.
All the Autobots (except those on the partition who weren't there) were stunned; after all, they had never seen... such, um, uh, such extreme compression technology before.
Normally, you can't see what's behind Rosa at all. How did this thing come out of her body and then retract?
"What's going on...?" Arcee was about to ask when the ambulance spoke first.
"This is mystical! Hmm!" The other Autobots stared even more dumbfounded at the ambulance talking nonsense, while Optimus Prime patted the ambulance's shoulder reassuringly.
“It seems our old friend needs a rest,” Optimus Prime shook his head. “But before that, we need to rescue Deadfire.”
Optimus Prime led the other Autobots to transform and head towards Deadfire, while Rosa spread her wings and flew in the sky. After a short while, she saw a blurry figure in the distance, one in olive green and the other in blue. The blue one was probably Deadfire, and the olive green one... was it the partition?
He didn't want to rescue Deadfire, right? He should be at the base.
"Optimus Prime, I see Deadfire, and the bulkhead is there too." Rosa contacted Optimus Prime from the inside, as flying always provides a better view. "They're being surrounded by the Mech Party." Rosa also reported what she saw, because she also saw artillery fire and other similar attacks hitting them from all around.
"Rosa, go over there and assist the partition. Be careful!" Upon receiving Optimus Prime's order, Rosa stopped gliding in the sky to keep up with the group and instead flapped her wings to accelerate her flight.
"--Whoosh!" The first thing that Baffle and Deadfire noticed was the team that Starscream brought. The Mech Party immediately retreated when they saw the Decepticons arrive. That row of planes was too conspicuous, but because of this, they didn't notice Rosa.
None of them knew Rosa had wings. The sky was dark, and Rosa's armor was black. With those wings in the sky, people on the ground probably mistook them for common birds; no one noticed her.
until--
After Starscream flew above the Deadfire partition, he transformed in mid-air, about to land on the ground. It should have been a very cool move, but if Rosa hadn't kicked him away mid-air, or even used her momentum to stomp on Starscream and slide a short distance on the ground...
"Commander Starscream!" a Decepticon henchman shouted, immediately firing at Rosa. Rosa simply flapped her wings, which were covered in sharp steel blades, and took flight, but she didn't fly away.
Instead, it rotates in the sky during flight, its wings spinning due to the movement of its body. The silvery wings, under the effect of rotation, resemble a magnificent ring, deflecting bullets as they spin.
Even after completing a spin, a powerful kick sent a missile flying away. Perhaps due to the well-placed force, the missile didn't explode upon impact, but instead flew off in the direction of the kick...
Then it flew to the red spider that had just gotten up...
On the other side, because he and the partition were still mortal enemies, he glanced at the partition, and the two TFs immediately understood each other's meaning and started fighting again.
Just as the partition was sent flying by Deadfire's hammer, Optimus Prime arrived just in time, leaving Starscream and the other Decepticons with no choice but to retreat...
“Fighting the enemy alone this time was even more foolish than last time, Blockboard. But it's an honor that you were able to lend a helping hand to the enemy; your conscience transcends personal desires.” Optimus Prime looked at Blockboard with admiration, and Blockboard was also pleased.
"Did you see that?! Did you all see that?! I defeated Deadfire! I won!" Blockboard excitedly raised his hammer, but then he heard a series of loud fanning sounds behind him. He looked towards Rosa, who was landing with flapping wings that still gleamed with a sharp, cold light.
"How is this...?" The partition also saw that Rosa landed and her wings immediately retracted back onto her back, showing no signs of deformation.
"Well, we'll probably have to go back to base first. Our old friend needs to rest." Optimus Prime looked at the somewhat dazed ambulance, muttering something about how this was illogical.
