Chapter 26 Just how many weapons did you carry?
"Hmm, steel claws, hands, double-edged swords, chainsaws, guns, cannons, lasers, electronic pulses—what can't you stuff in there?!" the ambulance demanded.
Rosa paused for a moment, the electronic pulse receded, and a rolled-up object popped out from it.
In the instant it fully sprang out, the ambulance driver saw that it was a small red and yellow flag that read, "This looks very wrong."
Although the contents of the small flag perfectly matched the ambulance's current thoughts, it also made him more defensive. Why could she stuff anything in there?
It all started when the ambulance was demonstrating to Rosa how to solder wires but suddenly couldn't find a saw. When Rosa asked if she needed to cut open the pipes so she could solder them herself, the ambulance said yes.
When the ambulance driver asked Rosa to wait while he went to find a better saw to cut the pipes, Rosa refused.
Then, in front of the ambulance, he retracted his hand and transformed it into a chainsaw longer than his arm.
What followed was that Rosa was completely bewildered when the ambulance stopped her on the spot.
To be honest, the ambulance could understand the weapons Rosa had used in front of them—steel claws, double blades, and so on. Double blades were used to gradually combine and extend piece by piece, and claws could be used by clenching a fist and then extending, and so on.
After all, her 'transformation' looks very simple.
But... the current scene made the ambulance driver a little doubtful.
If the previous weapons can be explained—the blades are relatively thin and can be pieced together—the chainsaw is the only one that is large, exceeding the length of Rosa's transformed arm. How did this come about?
What about the remaining space for the blade and hand to deform? Can it all be stuffed into one arm?
Next comes the scene from the beginning, where the ambulance forces Rosa to display all the weapons she's equipped with. His brain module is screaming, "It's illogical that she can fit so much stuff in one arm!!"
Even that final "This seems really wrong" moment...
But then it suddenly made sense again.
This is what Rosa said when the ambulance driver questioned the matter.
"The end of science is metaphysics." Hmm, very reasonable! P!
The ambulance took Rosa out of the lab, and she began to think about the problem independently while searching for literature to try to understand what Rosa really was.
Now, Rosa jumps back and forth between having a transformation gear and not having one.
Rosa, who was thrown out the door, and Arcee, who was passing by, looked at each other in bewilderment.
When Arcee saw the ambulance push Rosa out, she closed the door, as if to say, "I'm doing my research, don't bother me."
Arcee sighed softly and beckoned Rosa to the lobby. She wondered what was wrong with the ambulance lately; it always seemed to have its worldview turned upside down before it went to look up information.
Although she could guess who it was because of
Arcee glanced back at Rosa, who was obediently following her to the hall.
Arcee's first impression of her was that she was silly. After all, when they first met, she couldn't distinguish between Autobots and Decepticons, and even thought they were Decepticons and led them the way.
However, I later learned that Rosa is actually very smart. Her inability to distinguish between them was probably due to other reasons at the time. Anyway, she can tell them quite clearly now, though she can still be a little absent-minded sometimes.
"Do you know where the ambulance went?" Optimus Prime walked into the hall.
"He's in the lab, I'll go get him," Rosa said, turning and walking away.
“No need, the ambulance should be busy.” Optimus Prime turned and left, while Rosa wanted to go back to her room to do her own thing, but then she remembered that the ambulance research lab was located there, so she didn’t need to go there.
So somehow, perhaps due to a conflict in instructions, I took a step in that direction, then remembered that I didn't need to go there and turned back in the opposite direction, then remembered that I needed to go there and took another step in that direction.
After pacing around in circles for two seconds, I finally managed to calm down and walk back to my room.
"Sigh..." Arcee sighed again, looking rather dazed.
However, Rosa hasn't been on many missions recently. For example, she didn't go to the museum's super energy collector mission because she needed to stay hidden, and she had to stay at the base because Jack broke the rules during the race and needed to be in vehicle mode. Maybe we should take Rosa out on the next reconnaissance mission?
After all, Rosa is a warrior, and she still needs to go out and gain experience.
"An energy signal has been detected." Raffi saw the marker appear on the base's display screen, and the ambulance also received a notification from its built-in system and rushed out of the research lab.
"Leave professional matters to professionals." The ambulance directly and accurately located the location, and then handed the positioning and synchronization equipment to Arci, who was on duty this time.
The ambulance driver understood; when there was a mission, he would put everything else aside and wait in the lobby until Arcee was ready to open the land bridge.
Although his gaze towards Rosa remained unchanged...
Arcee thought for a moment, then contacted Optimus Prime via internal communication to report that she would be bringing Rosa with her this time... Arcee saw the expectant look in Jack's eyes.
"Can I go? I brought all-purpose tools with me!"
Arcee hesitated for a moment, then reported Jack as well. Rosa suddenly remembered something and asked Arcee to wait. After a while, Rosa returned to the hall wearing her best armor.
"Wow! That's cool!" When Meiqi saw Rosa in her black armor, Arcee paused for a moment, then smiled helplessly and led the two of them onto the land bridge.
