Chapter 15 Each to their own
Chapter 15 Each to their own
The following afternoon, the ambulance confirmed that the information Rosa had seen was indeed about the space bridge, and they had already located the space bridge that afternoon, but...
The land bridge isn't far enough, so we need to transform and cross it, using inertia to fly onto the space bridge.
Because Rosa cannot transform, she was unable to participate in this mission and could only stay at the base, watching Optimus Prime and the others leave.
Then came the good news: the Decepticons' interplanetary navigation system malfunctioned, preventing them from targeting Cybertron.
The bad news is that they plan to use Earth's equipment, but they need to hack into it. The trio must go to Earth's radio telescope antenna to interfere with the Decepticons. Rosa, who has some combat ability and cannot participate in Optimus Prime's mission, is sent to accompany them.
“The security system is really lax,” Meiqi said. Rosa couldn’t enter the human’s house and could only sit outside. But when she looked up, she seemed to notice something: a house with a skylight, its skylight was broken, and some steel bars were exposed.
It looks like something hit you.
Driven by curiosity, Rosa quietly climbed up to take a look, but as soon as she saw it, she immediately shrunk her head and scrambled to find a place to hide.
"The Decepticons are connecting him to the antenna," Raffi explained to Meiqi and Jack beside him. Suddenly, Meiqi's phone vibrated, and she picked it up to take a look.
"Rosa is asking us if we're in room 3." Meiqi looked up and saw the number three written on the wall.
"Why is she asking this?" Jack asked, puzzled. Soon, Meiqi saw something, her expression tense, and she even spoke in a soft voice.
“She said there’s a Decepticon in room 4 next to ours.” Jack and Raffi were startled and began to whisper.
Rosa then sent another message: "Don't let him locate you."
A cold sweat broke out on the back of the three little ones.
[Are there security cameras around here?] Meiqi looked up again to observe her surroundings and replied to Rosa that there were.
[Focusing on interfering with the Decepticons] Miki was still replying to Rosa's messages after seeing this, while Jack looked at the monitor and suddenly froze.
He saw a blue ring suddenly appear above the support above the monitor, and this ring had many arcs in the middle.
Then the surveillance camera was moved to a different location; the camera that was originally pointing at them was now shoved against the wall.
If the other side knows how to crack it, they might be able to see the other side through the surveillance. Back in her hometown, Rosa, who had played too much Cyberpunk 2077 hacking games, started to let her mind wander, even though in reality she was right.
After Lafite's initial interference, the sound wave did indeed begin checking nearby surveillance footage, only to find nothing. Perhaps it wondered why humans would "monitor" the wall.
But he knew the problem definitely lay here. Someone was controlling the equipment, but he didn't want to waste his energy searching for the flesh worms in this cramped building. He needed to locate Cybertron as soon as possible so the Decepticons could activate the space bridge.
So after locating the target with sound waves, they cut the wires. As a result, the three little ones found that they could no longer control the radio telescope. Fortunately, they were not discovered and no danger occurred.
Rosa had originally sent a message telling them to hide and not come out, but it was too late. They actually rushed straight at her face and were recorded by the sound waves as they approached them.
With the power lines cut, they could no longer control the antenna to interfere with the Decepticons. The three of them were somewhat dejected and had no choice but to return to their base.
The land bridge was open and they were all ready to leave, but Rosa suddenly stopped and called the ambulance.
What would happen if the activated space bridge suddenly lost its location?
the other side--
The space bridge was activated, and Megatron threw a large chunk of dark super-energy into it.
The ambulance had already detected a rapidly expanding energy substance inside the space bridge and was asking Optimus Prime when Rosa suddenly connected.
"What would happen if the space bridge, which has already been activated, suddenly lost its location?" The ambulance hesitated, but still replied.
“If the location is lost during the activation of the space bridge, the energy will not be able to be transmitted to the designated location, which may cause an explosion.” Rosa nodded and looked back at the three little ones.
"You guys go back first, I'm fine here," the ambulance driver instantly realized what Rosa was planning.
"You want to sabotage the positioning device?" Rosa responded, wanting Jack, Maggie, and Raffi to go back first. But they seemed determined not to leave.
“We’ll stay here! If you need any help…” Laffey said from the side. Rosa thought for a moment and nodded in agreement. Some secrets could begin to be revealed little by little. The previous missions had already proven that she would not betray the Autobots.
The land bridge was temporarily closed. Rosa looked at the massive radio telescope antenna overhead. With a flash of blue light, a solver symbol appeared in Rosa's hand.
"Wow!" Meiqi exclaimed in surprise.
Then, the solver symbol in Rosa's hand gradually turned into a small black ball that emitted a faint blue light, with the word "Null" displayed in the center.
Suddenly Rosa squeezed hard, and the ball exploded, sending out a blue shockwave. To the three humans, it was just a gust of wind, but all the electronic devices that came into contact with the shockwave malfunctioned briefly.
Not only did Meiqi's phone screen go completely black and display the blue word "Null," but the computer that originally controlled the radio telescope antenna also instantly displayed "Null."
They looked up and saw that the antennas were moving, but not in the normal way when they were all positioned simultaneously. Instead, each antenna in a row was positioned independently, and they were all moving erratically.
"Rosa! What's going on over there? We've detected an energy signal on your end!"
"Don't worry, it just interfered with the antenna's positioning a little," Rosa transmitted into the intercom. The ambulance quickly opened the land bridge on Rosa's side, telling them to get back as soon as possible. With such a large energy signal, the Decepticons would definitely come to investigate.
"When will it be back to normal?" Back at the base, Meiqi asked Rosa, holding up her black-screened phone.
"It'll be back to normal in a bit, but the Decepticons' space bridge will probably explode soon, so they won't be able to use these antennas." Rosa squatted down and talked to the humans on the ground, her smug expression impossible to hide.
-
"Soundwave! What's going on over there! Why is the Space Bridge's positioning malfunctioning?!" Inside the Decepticon warship, the system controlling the Space Bridge's positioning suddenly started reporting errors. The Space Bridge was extremely unstable and showed signs of exploding.
Upon receiving the message, the sound wave immediately changed direction and flew back to the antenna, only to find a row of antennas moving erratically. Clearly, the antennas were no longer usable for positioning, yet this was the space bridge's only positioning device at present.
By this time, Rosa and three humans had returned to the base via the land bridge. She left behind a sound wave to try to restore the antenna operating system, but then she discovered that because she had cut the wires herself, the antenna would not work unless it was repaired.
...The space bridge is finished.
Optimus Prime received the message and, seeing cracks appearing on the Space Bridge, quickly ordered the rest of the group to retreat. However, Megatron was unwilling to abandon his Dark Legion army, and the entire Space Bridge exploded the moment he made contact with the Dark Legion.
All the Autobots returned to base unharmed.
As for Megatron, it's unknown whether he could have survived such an explosion.
