Chapter 213 Are We Very Familiar? Quite Sincere
On the seabed of the Blue Hole, Qi Hao sat upright in the small house in Dingding Village, while Wright withdrew and stood silently by the door.
"So... how did you figure that out? How did you manage to tell that I was affected by time?" Qi Hao couldn't help but ask. He really had no recollection of it at all. He was only dizzy for a short while, yet time reversal had occurred.
"Hey, that's a really low-level question. Would you ask why the sun shines?" Wright replied to Qi Hao's question with a nonchalant tone, offering a different answer.
"Okay, then why is your trainer Li Feng? Didn't he disappear a long time ago?" Qi Hao tried to change the subject when he saw that the other party's tone was rather perfunctory.
"Hmph, you even know that? That's even more ridiculous. Are you asking why the sun is in the sky?" Wright clearly didn't want to pay attention to Qi Hao, his gaze fixed on Li Te outside the door.
Seemingly noticing Wright's gaze, Litt instinctively turned his head, so Wright quickly retreated back into the house and pulled the seaweed curtain closed.
"Can't you speak properly?! I don't even know what's going on here!" Before he knew it, Qi Hao had approached Wright, and his voice was getting increasingly agitated.
Faced with Qi Hao's sudden outburst, Wright looked at Qi Hao indifferently, "Are we that close? Why are you yelling at me? If you don't know the situation, why don't you go and find out for yourself? Look at the kind of questions you're asking! Want an answer? Fine. In short: It's none of your business! Are you satisfied now?"
Qi Hao was stunned by Wright's interrogation and froze on the spot. Before Qi Hao could even process what he was thinking, Wright continued, "I don't care what you want to do. If you hadn't discovered my secrets, I wouldn't have bothered with you. Do you think I'm a nice guy like Little?"
"To rescue you from the seabed, Litte prepared a plan for decades, only to abandon it all at once. If it weren't for that idiot Litte, you'd just be another nameless corpse at the bottom of the ocean. What right do you have to yell at me? What are you arguing about? I'm the one who should be arguing the most!" Litte launched into a tirade.
This left Qi Hao speechless and made him start to reflect.
"I'm sorry, I don't know why I was so angry, but I apologize for my behavior." After a moment, Qi Hao calmed down. He wondered why he would get angry for no reason. He was usually quite calm.
“Alright, speaking of apologies, shouldn’t we have some berry salad? Treat me to some berry salad, you should have some berries in your bracelet, right?” Wright’s eyes crinkled slightly, looking confident, and he handed over a stone bowl.
Qi Hao's lips twitched slightly upon hearing this. It wasn't a big deal, so he couldn't refuse. He started rummaging through his bracelet and took out some tree fruits that were meant as snacks for Xiao Tie and the others. He processed the tree fruits using the same method he used to use to help his godmother with her.
Wright, meanwhile, set up a small wooden table, his fins wrapped around his knife and fork, and a scarf tied around his neck, looking as if he had been waiting for a long time.
A moment later, Qi Hao plated the tree fruits and placed them in front of Wright. He then found a place to sit down and began fiddling with his watch, thinking that he should have a location tracking function by now.
"Error, special magnetic field detected, analysis in progress... Analysis result: Special sea area - Blue Hole, configuration being changed... Special function being installed... Please wait patiently." The watch emitted a mechanical voice, the AI language was turned off, leaving only the system prompt tone.
“Don’t even think about it. The special conditions in the Blue Hole Sea make it impossible to use almost any foreign weapons, equipment, or even tools.” Wright said, stuffing the last bite of berry salad into his mouth, then tears welled up in his eyes.
"(′- へ -、) It's been over ten years, and I've finally eaten something other than seaweed. I almost forgot that my true form is a Ditto."
It seemed that the food had lifted Wright's spirits. He rolled up, gathered up the table and bowls, and swam over to Qi Hao: "Since you're being quite sincere, I'll take a look at you and see if you have any other problems."
"Is there a problem?" Qi Hao was slightly puzzled. Why didn't he think so?
The talkative Qi Hao wanted to ask more questions, but the scene before him left him speechless.
One of Leeteuk's eyes turned blood red, and the area around it turned into a blue gel, which then gradually transformed into white, angular shapes.
And these eyes gave Qi Hao a sense of déjà vu, a feeling that even transcended time, reminding him of that enormous figure from the deleted time!
"Dialga?!" Qi Hao exclaimed in shock.
“You do have some knowledge. Don’t move. Let me see what happened in your timeline.” Wright said, his eyes glowing red.
Qi Hao stared blankly at the incredible scene before him, finding it hard to believe that someone could transform parts of their body, and even into a divine beast! Just how skilled was he at transforming?
After a short while, Wright seemed to understand something and began to transform his other eye. This time, it was a yellow pupil that Qi Hao had never seen before, but the color of his eye socket changed from yellow to blue, and then to pink, which made Qi Hao guess that it should be the Three Sacred Mushrooms that control memory, will, and emotion.
It can only be said that he truly deserves to be called the first leader of the sect; his experience as an elf is indeed very rich.
Finally, Wright transformed back into Dolphin Man and sighed, "It's been too long since I've transformed into other spirits, I'm a bit rusty."
"Well, your time reversal isn't a big problem. It didn't cause any harm to your body. The God of Time imposed restrictions on that period of time, but with the limited authority I'm imitating, I can't find a way to undo it. I can only leave it to fate." As he spoke, he changed the subject.
“As for your soul… you can’t control the direction of your negative emotions. I don’t know why, because I’ve never seen it before. The problem is that you might get inexplicably angry, or even go berserk,” Wright said, gesturing as he spoke.
"The soul is a huge container that holds all emotions, including joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, and it will naturally be released when needed. But your soul is missing about a third of its length, so when negative emotions accumulate to a certain degree, they will be released uncontrollably."
"So...you didn't feel anything before?" Wright asked uncertainly. This was a very simple and easy-to-understand situation, and after a few times, Qi Hao could figure it out himself.
"No, this is the first time." Qi Hao stroked his chin. Was there something different now than before? Was it because the elves weren't around? Those two things were completely unrelated, weren't they?
Soon, Qi Hao gave up thinking about it, unable to figure out what the difference was.
"Forget it, if I really don't understand, I'd better not think about it anymore. I'll just control my emotions in the future. By the way, why did you turn into Dolphin Man? What's the plan? Can I help you?" Qi Hao curiously leaned closer; he really loved meddling in other people's business.
"I can't tell you why I became Ritsu. I can only tell you that I can't use other abilities because of this."
“I originally planned to enter the Ocean Temple today using the special ocean currents. There was something inside, but now we’ve missed it because of you. It will be several years before we can do it again. As for your help…” Wright pondered, and it seemed that there was a way to make amends.
