Chapter 81 Tom Marvolo Riddell's Background
Chapter 81 Tom Marvolo Riddell's Background
Stepping out of the teleportation circle, everything was bathed in golden light. While in the passage, I instinctively took off my glasses and grabbed my hair.
He changed out of his dark gold magic robe and put his wand back in his portable backpack.
"Baby, where are you? I'm back." It's really the craziest time since I returned to Tom Marvolo Riddle's era. I don't know if it's because of him, but he doesn't have any of Voldemort's traits. I, on the other hand, have become a bit like Voldemort's craziness.
"Your way of getting home is really something else." Even Tom Marvolo Riddle had to chime in, this guy always acts this crazy every time he shows up.
He was just reading some materials upstairs. He had been researching his background and wanted to go to the place where the information was provided.
Unexpectedly, I returned to his side at this very moment.
"What? Are you not welcoming me?" I appeared in front of Tom Marvolo Riddle, who had just come down the stairs, with a smile and eyes full of love and expectation. I extended my hand to him, not as a demand, but as a gentlemanly invitation, so that he would naturally place his hand on mine.
"How long do you plan to stay this time?" Tom Marvolo Riddell reached out and took his lover's hand, applying a little force, as if he didn't want me to leave so quickly.
"I'll take you to a place you've always wanted to go, and then I can spend the whole year with you next year." This trip is just to settle some things with Tom Marvolo Riddle and Old Tom; next year will be the exciting one.
"How did you know I had a place to go?" Tom Marvolo Riddell pinned me against the wall at the corner of the stairs, a dangerous red glint in his dark pupils.
"I know everything about you. Do you want me to come with you?" I chuckled and stroked his face, then seductively planted a kiss on his cheek.
“Let’s go.” Tom Marvolo Riddell took my hand and led me outside.
Sigh~ I'm still a bit short. Tom Marvolo Riddle, who's already in sixth grade, is so much taller than me. There's still a long way to go!
As Tom Marvolo Riddle and I sat quietly on the sofa in the living room of the Gaunt mansion, Tom Marvolo Riddle's eyes were cold and sharp, revealing an unfathomable aura.
Tom Marvolo Riddle's uncle, Morfin Gaunt, sat in the opposite chair, looking haggard with a hint of fear and unease in his eyes.
Tom Marvolo Riddell's voice was deep and cold, like a messenger from hell.
He slowly opened his mouth and asked, "I want to know, who is my father?"
Morfin Gaunt's lips trembled as he tried to answer, "Your father... he is..."
"Speak!" Tom Marvolo Riddell suddenly roared, his voice echoing through the empty room and sending chills down everyone's spine.
Morfin Gaunt was intimidated by Riddle's imposing manner, and he stammered, "Your father... he is... Tom Riddle... a Muggle."
Tom Marvolo Riddell's face grew even darker, and his eyes revealed a hint of disgust and anger.
He said coldly, "A Muggle? My father was a Muggle?"
Morfin Gaunt quickly explained, "Your mother...she's a witch...she fell in love with your father..."
Tom Marvolo Riddle interrupted him, his voice full of sarcasm and disdain: "A wizard falling in love with a Muggle? It's a disgrace!"
Morfin Gunter lowered his head, not daring to look Tom Marvolo Riddell in the eye.
Morfin Gaunt glanced furtively at me as I sat next to Tom Marvolo Riddell, drinking coffee.
He knew that Tom Marvolo Riddle had always been very sensitive about his origins. He had always believed himself to be a pure wizard, but now he discovered that his father was a Muggle, which made him feel incredibly angry and disappointed.
Tom Marvolo Riddell was silent for a moment, then suddenly stood up, his eyes revealing a hint of determination and resolve.
He said coldly, "I will not let this disgrace continue. I will let everyone know that I am a true wizard, and I will make my name a legend in the magical world!"
I won't stop him; let him go crazy if he wants to. I'll cover for him.
Anyway, he's not into Horcruxes anymore, so what can I do but spoil him?
And so I followed Tom Marvolo Riddle away from the Gaunt mansion, and we disappeared into the darkness.
As Morfin Gunter watched us leave, his heart was filled with fear and unease.
He knew that Tom Marvolo Riddell had embarked on a path of no return, and that he would become a terrible enemy…
"Alright, why are you so angry?" He grabbed the person who was rushing away and pulled him into his arms.
“With my background, I don’t seem to deserve to stand beside you. Isn’t your family all wizards?” Tom Marvolo Riddle has investigated my family. The Grindelwald family is full of famous wizards. How could a half-blood like him be qualified to stand beside me?
"You're still thinking about these things? As long as you have the power, you can have anything. What does this have to do with the family? Besides, don't we still have my brother? Let him have a few kids and we'll raise them." Gellert Grindelwald should be the one to figure out how to have a few kids. I feel like my generation and his are all doomed to die out.
“That seems to work too.” Tom Marvolo Riddell has been led astray by me; he thinks what I said makes a lot of sense.
"What's the plan now? Should we go see your father?" I wonder if Tom Marvolo Riddle still wants to kill old Tom Riddle. If he really wants to, I'll go and stop him. No matter what old Tom Riddle was like in the past, that's all in the past. After all, he's still Tom Marvolo Riddle's father.
Tom Marvolo Riddle didn't want to bear the burden of a life lost; he managed to prevent Myrtle's death, and his father should be able to as well.
“Well, let’s go take a look.” Tom Marvolo Riddle led me toward Riddle House, intending to see his father.
We quietly approached Riddle House.
This mansion could have been his home, but now it is filled with a deathly atmosphere.
Tom Marvolo Riddell and I went to a window and cautiously peered inside.
The room was filled with a musty smell, and the furniture was covered with a thick layer of dust.
In a corner of the room, he saw a man—his father, old Tom Riddle.
Old Tom Riddle sat in a worn-out chair, leaning forward with his hands supporting his head.
His eyes were vacant, as if he had lost his soul.
Tom Marvolo Riddell gazed at his father, a complex mix of emotions welling up within him.
He once longed for his father's love, but now all he sees is a lonely, depressed man.
Suddenly, old Tom Riddle looked up and his eyes met Tom Marvolo Riddle's at the window.
Tom took a step back in alarm, but his father didn't seem to see him.
Old Tom's eyes became vacant again. He lowered his head and continued to immerse himself in his own thoughts.
Tom Marvolo Riddell left the window, his heart filled with doubt and sorrow.
He didn't understand why his father had become like this, why he had abandoned him and his mother.
This scene was deeply imprinted in his mind and became one of the driving forces behind his later pursuit of power and control.
