Chapter 160 Extra: GGAD's Daily Life
Chapter 160 Extra: GGAD's Daily Life
Dumbledore was really scared of being tormented by Emeric every few days. He would stare at the things Emeric sent him for a long time, afraid that he would eat something else.
"Al, what are you looking at?" Gellert pushed open the door and came in. He stood beside him and looked at the box of snacks in his hand. "Don't worry, I did this little rascal a favor recently. He won't drug you anymore."
"real?"
"Really, don't you believe he doesn't believe me? When have I ever lied about something like this?"
Gellert looked at Dumbledore with amusement, knowing full well what he was hesitating about; anyone who had been drugged several times would be traumatized. He picked up a piece of pastry, put it in his mouth, and ate it right in front of Dumbledore. After a while, nothing happened.
"There's not much food, but it tastes pretty good. If you like it, I'll ask him how he made it. You can trust me with what I make, right?"
Gellert specifically dragged Emerich into learning desserts, all in an effort to win over Dumbledore through his stomach. Sometimes, after an argument, he would go to the kitchen and cook something, which would calm him down, and presenting his creations to Dumbledore would give him more confidence in apologizing.
"How did you help him?"
"Transferring out those affected businesses and protecting this little money-grubber's fortune will be quite a task," he said, wiping the crumbs from Dumbledore's mouth. "I reckon you won't be lacking in snacks this month. Pick out the ones you like, and I'll ask him for the recipes, so I can make them whenever you want."
Dumbledore picked out a not-so-sweet one and fed it to Gellert, increasingly feeling that making up back then was a fantastic decision. Now, not only was Ariana back, but Gellert had also changed his personality and was no longer so extreme; apart from being teased occasionally, he was practically perfect.
"Eat less, we still have lunch later." Seeing Dumbledore eat several pieces in a row, Gellert couldn't help but stop him. He really thinks he's young, not taking his health seriously at all.
"I'm not eating it. I like the white one. You can ask them how to make it later."
"Hmm." Gellert put down the documents in his hand and looked at his lover who had made the request with a smile in his eyes.
"Knock knock".
"Enter."
Ariana pushed open the door and came in, looking curiously at the two people she hadn't seen all morning. "Let's have lunch. Second Brother is here too."
"You go down first, Gail and I will pack our things and come right away."
"it is good."
The girl ran off in her slippers, and seeing her lively demeanor, Dumbledore's heart softened completely. He sighed and looked at Gellert, "Seeing Ariana like this, I can't get angry no matter what Ariana does."
"Wait until he does something bad before you say that," Gellert bluntly exposed Dumbledore's words. "Let's go downstairs. Hopefully, Aberforth is normal today and doesn't want to talk to me about magic."
"Can't you argue with him less? He's still my brother."
"He was arguing with me, and I didn't even say anything. He just threw a spell at my face." Gellert still felt wronged when he mentioned this. All he did was steal Dumbledore away. Was it really necessary to have disliked him for so many years?
Sitting down at the table, Gellert shut his mouth tightly. He had just been pinched by Dumbledore for talking too much, and it would be incredibly embarrassing to be pinched again in front of a child, so he decided to pretend to be mute.
"Brother, can I answer these questions this afternoon? I don't understand them." Seeing that the atmosphere was getting more and more awkward, Ariana quickly took out a notebook with her study questions written on it.
"Of course, do you have any other questions?"
"Besides Transfiguration, I also have questions about Defense Against the Dark Arts, which I didn't understand."
"Let me see, this is simple..."
Gellert leaned against the wall watching the two of them. The scene before him was wonderful. There was no Aberforth to interfere and ruin their relationship. He could also raise Ariana with Dumbledore.
"Brother, sister, what are you doing? Why aren't you coming to eat?" An annoying voice came from behind. Aberforth walked between them, subtly blocking Gellert and Dumbledore from each other.
Gellert rolled his eyes and raised his wand, intending to unleash a fiery attack on him to teach him a lesson and stop standing in the middle of such a large living room.
As soon as Aberforth stood there, Dumbledore sensed something was wrong. He quickly turned his head to look at Gellert, who was being blocked, and watched him put down his wand, afraid that the man might accidentally fire it.
"Alright, let's learn later. We can't delay our lunch time." He quickly smoothed things over, having eaten too much sweet food and now really craving something salty.
Little Barty sat in the restaurant for a long time without seeing anyone come over, so he got up and walked into the living room, thinking that something had happened to them and wanting to go and help.
"Do you need my help?" Seeing the group of people frozen in the living room, Barty walked over to Gellert and nudged Aberforth. He was ready to add fuel to the fire and kick them all out, leaving only himself and Dumbledore, and at most tolerate Ariana.
"Now that everyone's here, let's go to the restaurant for dinner." Dumbledore pulled Ariana away, not wanting to put up a fight with the group any longer. Let them do whatever they want; they can't kill them anyway.
"Al, wait for me." Gellert grabbed Dumbledore's free hand before Aberforth could reach him, glancing smugly at the remaining two.
Once the three of them sat down, the house-elf hurriedly served the dishes, completely ignoring the three who were still bickering. They would quarrel three or four times a day, and no one knew where all their anger came from. This made Dumbledore dislike being a peacemaker.
"Al, come with me to Diagon Alley this afternoon. Ellie left some things there, saying they were for us."
"What is it?"
"I don't know, he didn't tell me, but judging from the way this kid gives gifts, it can't be too bad." Gellert smiled. His favorite gift was that year's Christmas present, which was the most pleasing gift he had ever received.
The two appeared on the streets of Diagon Alley after passing through the fireplace. Of course, they had dressed up, otherwise, anyone who saw them now would probably run away, since Gellert almost turned the wizarding world upside down back then.
"Which store did he put it in? Let's go get it first." Dumbledore looked at the Honeyduke in the distance, eager to try it. After getting the gift, he went into the candy store to make a purchase. He heard that they had recently added some new products that he hadn't tried before.
"Put it in the clothing store? Why would he put it there?" Gellert couldn't understand Emeric's intention. "Why don't we browse around first? The clothing store is a bit crowded right now. Buying candy is fine, but you can't buy too much." He saw through Dumbledore's thinking.
"Fine, I'll just buy one box." Dumbledore looked unhappy, but unfortunately Gellert wouldn't have it.
After they finished browsing the candy store, the crowd in Madam Malkin's Robes store had just passed, and Gellert followed behind Dumbledore with a box of candy in his hand.
"Madam, is there anything for Dumbledore, or for Gellert?"
"Yes, let me see where I put it," Mrs. Malkin said, placing a large box on the table. "Please keep it safe."
Back home, Dumbledore casually tossed the candy onto the table, staring at the gift box in Gellert's hand. "Open it quickly."
Inside the box were two robes, which anyone could tell were matching couple outfits. They satisfied Dumbledore's fondness for flamboyant styles while also incorporating Gellert's preferences.
"Want to give it a try?"
"not bad."
After putting it on, Gellert immediately dragged Dumbledore to find Aberforth and Barty Jr., showing off their matching outfits to them.
