Chapter 139 The Price of Love

I thought I'd arrived in heaven. After all, I was always getting friend-zoned by girls, so going to heaven wasn't unexpected.

"Hehehe." The lady selling DVDs across from me didn't answer my question but laughed happily.

"What are you laughing at?" Well, it was one thing for the DVD seller to laugh. But the guards around them also chuckled sheepishly.

"What are you thinking about? How could you die? Our princess saved you," the guard said to me.

"What? I'm not dead?" I exclaimed in surprise.

"Yeah, you're not dead. Don't you know whether you're dead or not?" the guard who was selling DVDs said, quite annoyed.

"Holy crap, am I really dying?" I quickly looked at my body to see if any parts were missing, then pinched myself a few times. It really hurt, so it wasn't a dream.

The girl selling DVDs over there looked at me shyly, clearly happy for me. But why did the guards around me look so unhappy?
