Transformers: Leader's Proof - Fragile, but Hard to Kill

Chapter 78 Who are you?

Chapter 78 Who are you?

Rosa donned her armor, spread her wings, and took flight ahead of everyone else. After all the other Autobots had passed, she swooped down and flew straight up the moment she crossed the land bridge, activating her projection and hovering in the sky as a watchful eye.

Rosa immediately made contact via internal communication after spotting a group of Decepticons nearby.

Those below also had their internal communications activated, allowing Rosa to hear directly from above what they were saying, such as whether the escape pod belonged to the Decepticons.

Tsk, trouble.

Rosa swooped down and plunged straight into the Decepticon horde to reap the rewards. You have to admit, having wings is a great advantage; with a gentle swipe of her steel-bladed wings, she could slay several Decepticons.

With the solver running, bullets don't have an easy time hitting you; they're all deflected.

Meanwhile, the Autobots behind the rock obstacle were dealing with a few mechanical insects that flew over, not expecting that the Decepticons would still have some mechanical insects left.

Seeing a mechanical insect entangle the weakest ambulance, Rosa casually used the tip of her claw to clamp a bullet, then threw it directly at the mechanical insect that was entangled with the ambulance.

The mechanical insect staggered a few steps after being hit by Rosa's bullet; its armor was indeed too thick.

Fortunately, Arcee rushed up and dealt the last few blows to the mechanical insect, and the situation was resolved. Rosa glanced around and, confirming that she could output damage effectively from the rear, shouted from the inside to activate the wide-range solver to deflect bullets.

An invisible protective shield was activated, and countless bullets flew in, all of which were controlled and deflected by one blue symbol after another. Blue stars and specks of blue light kept appearing in the air, which was quite beautiful.

Optimus Prime and his team immediately opened fire on the Decepticon minions. With Rosa blocking their way, they no longer needed to hide behind obstacles, firing and hiding intermittently. They could just unleash a barrage of fire, knowing the enemy couldn't hit them anyway.

"Watch out ahead...whoa." A Cybertronian, predominantly white with some blue and red accessories, ran down from the woods, a transforming gun in his hand.

But when he saw what was happening before him, especially when the Decepticons' bullets were stopped by countless points of blue light in the air, he couldn't suppress his shock.

This isn't like a shield or anything; people inside can attack those outside, but people outside can't attack those inside. It's amazing!

Rosa paid no attention to what was happening behind her, but focused on the calculations. When a missile came flying in, she didn't kick it, but chose to control the missile directly.

The Cybertronian clearly saw the missile stop in front of the well-proportioned female aircraft, and then the black female aircraft magically lifted the missile above her head.

A blue symbol appeared in her hand, the same symbol that controlled the missile and deflected bullets on the "defense network".

He watched as the female pilot waved her hand slightly, and six missiles appeared out of thin air!

He rubbed his optics uncertainly, thinking he was seeing things, but he realized he wasn't. All six missiles would explode if thrown back into the Decepticon pile, so they were all real.

He was quite certain that no relic had this symbol, nor was any relic so powerful. It was one thing for a relic to defend against and deflect bullets, but how did they manage to copy it?

Perhaps it was because the white-clad TF's gaze was too obvious, but Arcee sensed something was wrong and turned around, only to meet the gaze of a stranger TF. She immediately pointed her gun at the TF behind her.

"There are enemies!"

"Hey, it's one of us!" Smokescreen immediately transformed the gun back into its original form, raised his hand and said. Everyone saw the Autobot symbol and temporarily put their guns down.

The Decepticons on the other side should have been mostly dealt with by now... right? Why does it seem like there are far fewer corpses than when I first saw them? Could they have all deserted?

Rosa stopped using the solver to block, reducing the computation and carefully checking whether there were any remaining corpses. She glanced at the body and confirmed that there were indeed far fewer corpses than the number of Tiger that she had seen at the beginning.

But what does it matter? She can't go after him anyway.

Rosa turned to look at the all-white TF, who was currently asking the other Autobots if they recognized him.

"Your friend?" the ambulance asked Bumblebee, who looked to be about the same age. Bumblebee shook his head, and Arcee also said she didn't know him.

"Can I ask you something? What was that just now?" the white TF asked the Autobots around him, his eyes filled with curiosity and excitement.

"Hello, Autobot brother," Optimus Prime said to the white TF.

He and Rosa walked over. Rosa had just spotted a Decepticon grunt who seemed to be still alive and was about to get up. She was about to finish him off when Optimus Prime stopped her.

Okay, okay, she understands.

Rosa put her gun away and followed Optimus Prime to see what was going on with that white TF.

"I can't believe you're Optimus Prime!" The white TF exclaimed in surprise, followed by overwhelming joy.

"He's Optimus Prime!" he said to the others, pointing at Optimus Prime. Rosa's lips twitched beneath her mask, and the others responded with "Yes, it's him," and so on.

"What's your name, soldier?"

"My name is Smokescreen, sir!" The TF named Smokescreen happily raised his hand to his head and saluted Optimus Prime.

"Welcome to Earth, Smokescreen." Optimus Prime extended his hand to Smokescreen, who shook it, marking the start of a friendly conversation.

“It’s an honor to fight alongside you,” Smokescreen said, but the ambulance didn’t think it should take him straight back to base.

“This isn’t the first time we’ve encountered one of our own undercover agents,” Arcee added. They didn’t think bringing the smokescreen back was a good idea.

Optimus Prime glanced at the insignia on Smokescreen's arm, the emblem of the Cybertronian Elite Guard. "Judging from your appearance, you were trained with the Cybertronian Elite Guard before?"

“Yes,” Smokescreen replied. “But when I joined, it was like a boot camp, without even a proper graduation ceremony.” Rosa stood by listening to them talk, and to be honest, hearing about boot camp subconsciously brought back a certain memory.

Hmm, would the Decepticons hold funerals for the "leftovers" they eat? Ah, probably not.

But if we hold one, would it count as a "graduation ceremony"?

Hmm, why doesn't it count?

“There was a war going on back then,” Arcee replied to Smokescreen, adding that there was no proper graduation ceremony. “I just wanted to be a soldier, to fight for my ideals… but in the end, I was assigned to the Iron Fortress Guard…”

Smokescreen looked momentarily disappointed. The ambulance driver found it suspicious; why the Iron Fortress Archives of all places? Optimus Prime, overhearing this, asked Smokescreen what he did at the Iron Fortress Archives and if there was any evidence to prove he was innocent...

The moment he revealed that it was Alpha Trion who persuaded the Supreme Council to make Optimus Prime their leader, Optimus Prime knew that the TF in front of him could not possibly be a Decepticon.

Because he believed in Master Alpha, who was his teacher, and since his teacher believed in him, he could not possibly be a Decepticon.
